Default Can bumper to quarter fit be adjusted with bumper on the car?

I understand the C7 bumper mostly snaps on with clips. The C5 was easy as it used a metal bracket with studs and nuts. Pull the outer tail light and adjust for proper fit. Can I do the same on the C7? Can I loosen the bumper and pull ththe light bezel? Or, does the bumper have to come off? Found a text tutorial on Stingray forums but it wasn't clear if the bumper had to come off. If it does it'd be mighty hard to get the fit right taking the bumper on and off.... I'd get lucky and snap the tabs.

Driver side... center of fascia is low vs. quarter.

Driver side center is low as well.

Taking a shot at the model year of your car, the early '14's had some bad clips in that area and were replaced under warranty if taken into the dealer.....just an FYI

Yup, not sure if it was the first batch of clips not being up to par or just a learning curve on instillation. I know of a couple of guys in the club that had to take the car back in for a redo....no big deal. Hope you can work it would with GM.

My car is out of warranty. Is it a clip defect or a bracket adjustment?

It's worth a visit or at least a phone call to your local dealer; I'm sure there is a TSB (Tech Service bulletin) on the problem. TSB's are like silent recalls, corrected outside of the warranty if need be.
