I have to agree with you - the wait was worth it. Beautiful car and hope you have many miles of driving pleasure from it.

I was the same way. Hung out here for about two years before I finally did the deed. Hope you feel as good about your car as felt about picking up mine.

Just kidding! Got it today! It's a 3LZ M7. To say it was a wait is an understatement. I ordered this car June 28. I knew the factory was shutting down. But when December rolled around and Patman and Perf N Restore got their cars, I started to get a little down. I ordered mine before them. After first seeing it sit in KC for almost two weeks, I watched via OnStar the car get delivered only an hour away and then sit there for a week. Then, when it got delivered locally, the salesman had "training" and couldn't get to my car so there's another day of waiting. It was torture. But like everyone will tell you, in the end it was worth it. It is a beautiful car and fun to drive. I can tell the ponies are there waiting to be opened up. There was one disconcerting thing - smoke and smell coming from the hood. The temperature gauge was good so I just chalked it up to "new residue" burning off. It eventually went away. Anyone who wants a courtesy delivery to the OC let me know. I can ease your impatience. And by the way, the paint is awesome; very very little orange peel. I'm extremely happy. Finally, thanks to Mike Furman. Mike is simply the best.
