Apparently you’re not familiar with the anti-gravity switch in the new C7.

Fixed.

Apparently front track is wider than rear. I was judging by looking at distance of the rear tire from the curb.

I hear you. In a moment of inattentiveness while parallel parking I ran the front tire up and over the curb. Getting out of the car I thought, that’s an expensive mistake but was shocked there was not a nick or scratch in the chrome wheel.

Isn't that great? I think I scrubbed the protective rubber rim on Michelin Super Sports a bit. But the wheel is perfectly OK.

On our C6 I slightly curbed one of the painted wheels (in 102k miles of driving), and had a couple with minor scratches from tire machines. The curb job was fixed in a couple of hours for a hundred bucks, and the other dings I touched up myself. I don't want to think what that would all have cost me with chrome.

The front track isn't wider than the rear. You just weren't perfectly parallel to the curb. That's very difficult to judge.

Glad you got lucky I just did the same thing but killed my aftermarket side skirt replacement already shipped. My wheels are fine. Not happy but mine coulda been much worse.

Better order some old fashion curb feelers........ or use the tilt feature on your mirror.

I forgot all about the mirror tilt option. Definitely will enable and use. My side skirt deal was due too me being an idiot.
