So who can tell me what this symbol means
on the mirror switch, the one that looks like a folded back mirror? Couldn't find in the owners manual.....

For those that don't use memory seat position #2.
Don't use the reverse mirror tilt option. Just point the mirrors where you want them and set that to memory position #2 (don't change anything else). Then you can quickly pop the mirrors to a second preferred position anytime you want, not just when you're in reverse.

No way to determine the amount of tilt down when choosing that option for reverse. The only options you have are none, DS, or both.
This subject came up about three years ago, but I forgot what the answer actually was. maybe I'll check to see if I can find the thread.
Wish me luck.

Makes sense wonder why it shows the right mirror not both? Why not picture both mirrors since switch controls both.... Certainly not a big deal just never noticed it before, but I've only had a C7 since 2013.... Getting old sucks....

Ahhh, a mystery. Blind spot reminder? ( and yes, I know there are no blind spots if mirrors are adjusted properly)

Good tip for single driver families.
I still can't find the thread that explains what it means. The search, here, apparently doesn't reach far enough back, and google is no help, either. The symbol does appear on other cars, but no luck with finding what it means.

Just a guess but does it mechanically close that mirror to the body? The drivers side wouldn’t need it, since all you need to do is lower the window to do it manually. Just a guess...

You must not own a Corvette. Corvette mirrors only fold back manually, and as far as I know they have never been powered.

Exactly!!! They include the mirror bracket to more accurately depict that it is to simply control a side mirror. Doesn't meant that it only controls the driver's side. Has nothing to do with folding the mirrors.
