Thought these would look good on the Z06

I like the GS wheels. They just look cleaner and less busy to my eye. If you're planning on trading it in in a few months and don't want to store the second set, I'd stick with the 06 wheels. I think they'll do better on trade in.

Not sure it matters if trading the car in.
OTOH, the Dealer might say, they're not the Original wheels and offer a lower trade value.
But personally, if I had to choose between keeping Factory Painted or Powder Coated for myself, I would want Powder Coated.
Powder Coat is more durable and better looking finish than Painted, Factory or not.
Not that I don't like the Z06 wheel design, but personal preference, I like the more open GS spoke design.
Just my 2 cents

100% right on the powder coat. The difference in trade value wouldn’t be great, but if you’re trading into a Chevy dealer I do think there will be a small difference.
Me? I’d run the GS wheels, keep the 06 wheels and swap them back just prior to trade in. Those GS wheels look great!
optionray - What are you thinking about in a few months?

My vote keep the Z wheels. I'm more surprised you'd go thru expense of buying GS wheels, powder coating and then trade the car in. I'd not had bought the GS wheels in the first place if that was the plan.

I have so many sets of wheels/tires now, thinking if I ever decided to track the car, I was going to run through tires pretty quick and I'd be prepared. Well, that hasn't happened yet, but it may and I'll be ready. I may eventually sell all of them if they can't be used on the new car.

I prefer the Grand Sport wheels in the original Machined Faced Aluminum!
Somewhat depends on the car color but had enough gray, then back wheels!
Had OEM Gray wheels on a Yellow C6 Z51.
Followed with Black OEM wheels on a Crystal Red Tintcoat early 2014 Z51.
For my first white car every, after 10 years with dark color wheels on my DD Vettes, decided the Machined Faced Aluminum wheels would look good on my Grand Sport. Never did see them, other than pics, on a Vette when I ordered! Very pleased with choice.
To Each Their Own!

I hated the zr1 wheel when I saw it but now I'm in love I'm probably going to order this wheel from forgeline soon.
