Default Thought these would look good on the Z06

I bought these and had them powder coated to match the black they use on the standard Z06 wheels. I was thinking these would better showcase the carbon ceramic brakes on the Z07, even though these wheels were originally for the Grand Sport. Can't decide if I want to put these on for a couple of months, prior to trading the car in. Which wheels do you think would have more appeal If I decide to sell one of the black sets, these grand sports or the standard black z06 wheels?

I'm thinking you might get more interest in the factory black Z06 rims, vs. the set of rims that you had powdercoated after the fact, simply because the Z06 rims are original factory finish.

Another factor might be the tires. If you are selling with tires already mounted, the amount of tread remaining might help/hurt the case.

I don't mean to jump on the band wagon but the GS wheels are my favorite of all the C7 wheels

Z06 wheels are a little to "busy" for me. Also, I like wheels that are easier to clean. Here I am being lazy again.

If I could buy the GS wheels for my Stingray I would.

Seems to me to be purely subjective; hence, will very depending on the individual involved.

Z06 wheels are more work to keep clean, and a few lbs. heavier than the GS wheels.

I like the look of the Z06 rims better than the GS rims.

I like cleaning the GS rims a lot more than the Z06.

I'll just have to suffer with my Z06 and take the extra 5 minutes to clean the wheels.

I've had all three wheels on my car (Z51 on Z51, Z06 and GS on my GS). Not even close- GS looks way better than Z06. You get to show off the big rotors and calipers. Z06 is just way too busy.

Look at virtually very aftermarket wheel- thin spokes, shows the caliper, not busy.

I use aftermarket Z wheels for my OEM tires. And yes they ARE harder to clean. Did you know there’s 15 sections to clean on Z06 wheels?
