How often do you actually take off your targa top? Be Honest

For you guys that say "a lot" or "all summer", why not get a convertible? It's a MUCH more open experience than the targa, the exhaust is completely different, and it's a quieter car too.
The coupe has nice lines and is safer but if you've got the top out all the time, why not a droptop?
I can't believe I owned afixed roof C6Z. I guess that's why I drove it 5000 miles in 8 years. Someone got a nice used car on that deal!

We looked at the convertible but felt the trunk was a bit to small for our trips. If not I'd have gotten one.

Only to silicone grease the rubber seals maybe once a year. Never drive with it off.

My C7 will be 4 years old come St. Patrick's Day in March and since I've had it I've only had the top of maybe 8-9 times. Usually at a car show but once in a while on a nice day for a long ride. Problem is since moving to SW Florida the sun is hot, even in the winter and my wife complains about her hair so I'll take it off on the ride home. Took the top off way more with my C5 & C6. But I'd never get a convertible. No storage space and they really get hot inside down here.

I don't even drive with my windows down, I sure as hell won't drive with the top removed. I hate wind noise with every fiber of my being. Any yet I can't sleep without a fan running. Go figure.

I have had two C7 cars, one a 2014 base now 2017 GS. What I am going to say has happened on both cars after taking the Targa off and putting back on both cars.
On the 2014 it was the passenger window and on the 2017 it was the driver side window..
When I went to hit the switch for a quick one up on both cars after putting the Targa roof on the windows went right up without staying up and went back up and down until I held the window switch in up position.
I have had Bowling Green techs out both times to correct the problem, so if anyone finds this problem just know it has happened before.
and yes I do take the top on and off and if I had known this was going to happen again would have gone with the Vert.

I just bought mine a week ago and with the weather so nice I decided to take the roof off after the third day. There were a few lessons I learned: 1) If it's hot or the sun is shining you will get hot and sunburned. Get a hat. 2) The buffeting got annoying so if you're not going fast enough or slow enough pick a road that can allow those speeds. There is a sweet spot/speed where it won't buffet. 3) The rear latch used to tuck up all the way to the roof. When I put the roof back on and driving back, I heard a loud thud. The latch dropped down about a half inch or inch. The latch will not stay up as far as it used to (to the roof). It does not unlatch but I push it back up to the roof and as soon as you hit a bump it jars itself back down with a loud thud. Scared the crap out of me until I figured out what it was. So I just let it hang down a little. It's no big deal and you wouldn't even know it if it didn't originally come tucked up so far. Anyone else experience this?

I bought mine in October. Haven't had the roof off yet. Car has been "tucked in" in the garage since the end of November. When the weather changes here I do plan on taking the roof off weather permitting. I would also eventually like to get a transparent roof panel for it.
