I have my 2018 z06 2lz for a little over a week and not once have I had the urge to take off my targa top but then again I have had multiple cars with sunroofs and never opened them either. I just worry about taking the targa off, possibly raining while Im driving and then putting it back on without scratching it up. Do you guys actually take off that targa top on a regular basis?
I never took the top off of my 2010 kept it 6 years and it had 2 tops!!!!!!. In my experience its like having a convertible. Where I live mornings and evenings in the summer/spring,fall are the best time (FOR ME) if I was going to take the top off. The driver of a convertible(any convertible) ain't having no fun when its 98 degrees and he's stopped at a red light or in traffic
in Am before it gets too hot and at night before it gets too cold. I always take mine off. it's a big part of the allure of this car. same as my C6. I would say at shows it's around one out of four at least there. who knows how they do things away from the show. i love the top off
once i manage a way to fit what i carry in the hatch of my coupe into a vert? then i will trade for one.. just a great open air feeling. like riding a motorcycle but safer lol.
I take mine off every chance I can during good weather in the Spring and Summer. I NEVER take it off in slightly cold weather or if it will possibly rain. Sometimes in the summer I don't want the added attention so I leave it on. Sometimes it attracts unwanted attention IMHO. Love driving the car with the top down though and love the look.

I have both the exposed carbon fiber and clear tops. I love the open feeling the clear top provides. I also love the look of the carbon fiber so I am conflicted. I do go top off in the spring and early fall/winter here in Florida.
