Does anyone wish they got the competition seats?

I like them better, but probably wouldn't pay the difference and don't lose sleep over it. The stock seats are still pretty awesome.
The Recaros I had in the '17 Camaro 1LE were the best seats I've ever sat in!

No. The standard GT seats with the micro-fiber suede inserts really keep you planted in them.

Nope, glad I saved the cash. GT seats are very good all-around seats.

Only a little. I love the looks however haven't sat in them yet. I'm still considering doing the seatback mod.

How would I know? I got the regular seats and have never sat in the others. I's need to sit in the others more than just casually to discern a difference.

This is the direction that I went, and I have no regrets. I do like the looks of the Competition seat more but it just is not nearly as comfortable (for me) to sit in for a long period of time.
The GT seat is the way to go for all but the most spirited type of driving application.

The side bolsters on the Comp Seats work a little better at holding the upper body in place when cornering hard. Inflate the side bolsters and they do even better. There is truly little difference between the two. Take off the upholstery and the frames are identical. The seat bottom foam may be more firm in the comp seat (which may be better on long trips). The seat back side bolsters on the comp seat are shaped to provide lateral support an inch or two further up the torso than the GT seats. The bolsters are the same maximum depth. Other than the holes in the seat back there really aren't any other differences between them and people that think there are major differences are fooling themselves.

How would I known never started a C7 almost but battery was dead on the dealer lot. All the best since learning about models more reading forums.

I like the look of the comp seats a lot and I've sat in them at car shows and they seem comfortable however if you order comp seats on a 1LT car they cost $3095 in Canada vs $2295 on a 2LT/3LT, plus they aren't available in gray on the 1LT either and I had to have the gray interior. So far I have found the standard seats to be extremely comfortable.

Nope. I wanted to get them in the worst way when I was placing my order as I loved the look of them. When I sat in one in the dealer, I found them to be more uncomfortable (felt like less cushion and more hard) than the standard seats. YMMV.

I also like the std. GT seats better than the Comp seats, having sampled both. However, body size and type has a lot to do with seating preference. I'm 6'2" 180.

The comp seats just look cooler. Not that you really see them much. It's one of those things that, rationally, probably isn't worth the money, but I'm glad I got them nonetheless. Same with the CF dash. You're fine either way.

Not me, I'm delighted with the stock seats, and the 2LT bolster adjustment adds a nice feature for spirited driving. At 6', 165# they're plenty snug. I had comp seats in my Jag XKR and the 4-point harness "wings" stabbed me in the arm every time I reached back for something. No problem with the C7 stock seats in reaching for something behind me.

Nope... The main reason I bought the car was for road trips with infrequent track days, and the 2LT seats are ideal for the intended purpose.

I got my base 2LT with PDR/Nav for a really good price and if I had a choice I would have preferred to have the Comp seats over PDF/Nav. They’re a bit less comfortable than the GT seats but they look amazing.
