My Z51 A8 'Widebody' Track/street car
Those of you who have seen some of my posts over the years may have noticed that its been a while since I've been active on the forum. Last May I was diagnosed with stage 3 throat/neck cancer, and I've spent the time since then in extensive treatment which included several surgeries, radiation and chemotherapy. The prognosis is good (I take a definitive PET scan soon) but the recovery has been long and difficult. I am unable to eat solid food because the radiation severely impacted my mouth, and the weight loss and extreme fatigue look like they will be problems for some time to come. As a result I am forced to give up my HPDE track life and am therefore letting my car go. You can find the ad in the C7 For Sale section of the forum. I hope to be back at some point in the future. I am very sorry to hear about your health issues brother, but am encouraged by your good prognosis. Keeping you on our prayers.
Man, is there any way you can keep that thing and maybe back it off a little for street use once you are ready? Awesome car!

Jet Vet,
I'm saddened by your post, but heartened by your upbeat prognosis. I wish you all the best. I loved following your conversion thread and know how much heart and soul you put into it.
Be well!

While I'm glad that the prognosis is good, I wish you didn't have to go through all of this right now. I enjoyed watching you build your wide body track car and wish you all the best for a full recovery. You will be in my prayers.
