Stage 2 wickerbill didn't come with double sided tape
Does this replacement need the double sided tape or will the bolts hold it on without it rattling around?
Did anybody install it without the tape?

Mine came with tape but I didn't remove the covering before the install. Good thing as I took them off and put stage 1 back on. On another thread here there was mention of the tape not being required.

Great! I'll stop overthinking this and just rip off the old ones and put on the new ones.
Thanks for the help, Guys!

I installed the stage 2 extensions without the tape and have been over 150 mph numerous times without issue.
Look at the stage 3 bridge, it has no tape and just 4 screws and holds up just fine.

Just wondering as to why you went back to stage 1? I just bought stage 2 and haven't installed and just curious. Thanks!

So, the parts came with slotted screws and the holes in the bill were close, but no cigar. I drilled the holes out, removed the old tape and started screwing...there's a reason folks went to the torx screws. They don't slip. I gouged the crap out of the right side with one move. I tried to clean it up and fill it in with black paint but it looks rotten.
Anybody know of somebody that has a right side stage 2 in carbon fiber faux painted? I'm in the market.

Oh,,so these must be aftermarket wings. Guess that was why there was no tape. The GM ones come with new torx screws and tape. I just reused the original screws when I installed mine briefly.

It turned out o.k., but when I buy the stage three, I'm going with the GM part so it fits.<br/>
