" Heaven forbid I ever go to New Jersey for ANYTHING." Well, your choice, your money... and maybe your loss.

lol, three pages of questioning Kerbeck's successful sales and then he ends with " Heaven forbid I ever go to New Jersey for ANYTHING." Obviously had no intention of buying from Kerbeck in the first place. I had a feeling when he spelled Kerbeck wrong multiple times. By the way, NJ has some beautiful areas, the whole state isn't a sewer.

After my 17 Z06/Vert was totaled in June, I wanted to purchase its replacement from Kerbeck. Unfortunately, they had nothing close. Wound up getting a coupe configured very close to the vert from MacMulkin.

I believe you purchased your first one from Kerbeck. How would you compare the purchase experience at both dealerships? When I was purchasing my first C7 in August of 2015, neither dealership had the exact configuration that I wanted in stock, so I ordered from Kerbeck and have had no complaints including service after the sale.

According to the urban dictionary, a troll is "one who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument."
You asked a question, then you don't believe and challenge the answers. Many of us including me have traded in cars at Kerbeck. It's okay to not believe us, a simple phone call to them might convince you.

Some said they didn't have used cars some said they didn't. I'm so glad you have traded with KERBICK. Never was the question, the question was do they have cars left over and do they sell used cars. I got one answer about selling 950 and several that they did or didn't. YOU didn't answer. You TROLLED the Post and came to a conclusion about me that you have no idea if its right or wrong. So stick it

Here is your original post and I'll will try to make it easy to understand with simplified answers:
"Kerbeck had an ad several times during the BJ auction. What does a dealer that has such a huge allotment do with the cars that are left over? Think Kerbick sold EVERY ONE? I guess GM still pays dealers if they have cars left over from the previous year don't they? But still the largest in the world must have some left over even though the ad didn't mention '17s just 16% off on '18s. I looked on that site one time and didn't see ANY USED Corvettes and was told they don't take trade ins. Is that right?"
Just curious this is not meant to be a referendum on Kerbick's business plan"
1. Yes. Kerbeck advertised several times during the Barrett Jackson Auction
2. Yes. Kerbeck sold out of 2017's back in November of 2017 and normally sells out of the previous model year early due to their high volume of sales as the #1 Corvette dealer.
3. Yes they are currently offering 16% off of 2018 Corvettes and will most likely be sold out of them within a few months.
4. They no longer retail USED Corvettes. They sell them at wholesale auctions.
5. They do accept trade in's. See answer #4 for clarification.
6. If you are in disbelief of any of the answers above, you may call them toll free at: 1-800-578-3883 Monday through Saturday
7. The proper spelling of their name is Kerbeck, not Kerbick and they are located in New Jersey which you stated you have no intention of visiting.

I'm a 15 year member here, you joined a few months ago. Respect is earned.
I have been a frequent visitor to kerbeck.com, every day since 2001. Yep, 17 years dreaming about a trip to Atlantic City. I bought a Z06 new from them in 2004, traded the wife's car. For many years they did sell used Corvettes, but for the last 5 years or so, they have not. A quick look at their web site shows they have a dedicated section listing used Corvettes, and now it says "We do not currently have any used Corvettes available."
Dave S. from Kerbeck is a forum member, maybe we can get his input about how many new Corvettes they sell.

I bought at Kerbeck's.
1. I did not have a car to trade
2. The transaction was easy and professional
3. The deal was excellent
4. They had what I wanted in stock
5. Dealers local to me had neither the selection or the prices Kerbeck had
6. Yes, it was in NJ, but I was buying a car, not moving there

We should probably explain to Walter the whole "allocation" thing and the process under which Chevy dealers can order a Corvette.
Walter, ordering a Corvette is not like ordering a Malibu. You can't just call up a dealer and order a new Corvette and expect to actually get one. The dealers "earn the right" to order each Corvette they have in stock. The more you sell, the more allocations you get to place an order. At the end of each model year, the dealers lower the prices to crazy discounts, and they sell off every year. A small profit is still profit.
Then there are constraints, but you have to pass a quiz on allocations before we get to that.
