no my wife is just the opposite she keeps telling to chill and take deep breathes. I remember it took two weeks after being delivered to Toledo to get the car here.

Oh no, they're very much on the same page. "You're obsessed. It will get here when it gets here. Does it really matter if it's this month or next?" To which my response is:

Chevy chat status info is not always as accurate/up-to-date as getting the dealer to look it up in GM's system.

But you live in SoCal, where you get to drive your C7 snow free forever! That's totally not fair!

Even though we have a head start, I'm pretty sure he's going to get his before you and I and that's ok (as I say gritting my teeth ). I am looking forward to seeing them all.

Default Just Left the Dealer

I once ordered a t shirt from a company in California. It traveled 7800 miles inside the continental US before it arrived in Texas. Here is the info my dealer provided today after I explained to him that Monday my car is considered 1 year old.
1/04/2018 3800 Vehicle produced
1/11/2018 4000 Available to ship
1/11/2018 4150 Original Invoice
1/11/2018 4B00 Bayed
1/17/2018 4B00 Bayed
1/18/2018 4B00 Bayed
1/19/2018 4B00 Bayed
1/23/2018 4B00 Bayed
The sales manager (who is a great guy) says he thinks the car is in San Antonio !!!
I guess the truck driver went by my dealer on I 35 and proceeded on to SA.
when and if this vehicle ever arrives @ my dealer it will be 1 year old and I will still like it I'm sure !!

It's not 1 year old, it's a new car. They built 18's through today, and 19's start Monday. The MY changeover to 2019 in the first month of 2018 is just pure marketing BS, and 18's and 19s from the new plant are identical. 2 to 3 years from now, it will not make any difference in terms of resale value.

Well, that was a problem w/ your dealer because they have more access to more information than the Chat reps do. Sounds like your salesperson was either lazy or uninformed.

As this is the last TOY in our lives, you are right. This is a car for the rest of our lives and we have no ambition of Mid Engine car in our future. However the vehicles that roll down the assembly line in BG KY on Monday 1-29-2018 will be 2019 model year Corvettes. Truthfully I could give 2 Sh*t's about this but since the car was ordered 4 months ago I won't let my dealer off the hook as they still have several 2017 Vettes on the lot. It's the principle of the thing and GM could give a care less about this but the dealer who I will buy other vehicles over the next years, will be reminded of it every time we walk in the showroom !

That's all in your head, and hopefully, you can let that go and enjoy what you have.
