Default Wanted subtle, might have gone too subtle

Didn't want the stripe stingray to stand out too much, but the difference between the carbon flash and WGG might be too subtle in this application. More noticeable in real life than in the pic (the black stripe better matches the hood vent). Just installed this morning.

That's cool...I like the ghost effect.

I once did fender stripes on a Machine Silver C6 with vinyl that was only a couple shades darker for similar effect.

You say it is more noticeable in person versus the photo, so hard to say. Based on the photo, I would say it is too subtle.

If the picture in the shade is more representative of what it looks like in person, then I like it and I don't think it is too subtle.

OP, sorry to go off topic. Has your car been paint corrected & quartz or opti-pro coated to get such a mirror finish? Thanks-It is beautiful & I just visited 3 shops yesterday to decide on which product to have applied.

I like it, but then again I like subtle. I have cyber gray stripes on my car and you can barely see them at some angles...

The hood is the only part of the car that doesn't need correction. It's going in for 2 stage correction and ceramic quartz as soon as it warms up a bit.

If I were to do that mod, it’s exactly how I would want it to look.

I did the same thing on a cyber gray but used the Jake logo. I think it's great and most peoples compliment me for it.

I dig the subtle look too. And your stripes are perfect, in my opinion.

I can't believe the luck. I saw this car when I first bought my C7 in WGG and am thinking about doing the same stripe. I just couldn't remember if the stripe was Cyber Gray or Shark Gray. I was looking all over the place and couldn't find the post I saw. Then today, viola, here it is. Cyber Gray it is.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the stripes, and how much did they run you?
