Do all the new Corvette's come with that oil cap? The wet sump and dry sump caps were different and the Mobil1 caps out there didn't fit the wet sump cars.

I am going to list my second favorite-the 69 going into the truck with the side pipes-only C3 to have side pipes as stock-love the look. My favorite was the nun in the split window and I kinda thought that would have been the overwhelming favorite.

Great pics! thanks Mike.

The one that stuck out was definitely the C7 with the raccoon in the grille. Obviously not a problem I want to have with my Stingray.

Have a great rainy Sunday, Mike!! (glad I took my Corvette out for a 40-mile drive yesterday when it was sunny)

Cool story on the C7 oil cap. Lets hope it doesn't take two years to process your nomination to the NCM Hall of Fame.

My vote is for your customer's '73. 46K miles and original paint! That is one beautiful Vette. 1973 is my favorite style of the third gen Shark cars.

Default Great start to Sunday

Nice story lines to start out your weekly thread.

That Ed Welborn is a sharp dresser!

Really like the front end photo of the ‘55 race car in the rare factory yellow and green exterior colors. There MUST BE a story behind that color combo, as the C1 generation was dominated by the exterior colors of red, white, and black.

Hey, you already got a “rememberance” from the Mobil1 exec...... they sent you to the C7R Corvette Racing Team pits with Race Team Manager Doug Fehan at Sebring and you drove the Pace Car!

Default Ncm hof

Furman?

National Corvette Museum Hall of Fame Nominee?

what took so long?!

maybe they were waiting for his 5,000th Corvette to be sold, as he is within weeks of blowing by #4,000.

it is going to be quite the sight in about 60 days watching the first truckloads of 2019 ZR1’s off loading right in front of Furman’s “launch pad” at Criswell.

line forms at the rear for these babies.

This throw back picture is my choice.

Love the Orange '73 and the Burgundy '69 with sidepipes.
Looking forward to your pictures from the 50th Anniversary for the First State Corvette Club.

I have no confirmation but I would not be surprised if Mike goes as many as 50 yrs for those 5000.

Really like the last one: Corvette on bridge, only car cresting the top. Great pics as usual.

#5,000 should happen in the year 2021/2022 time frame...which is crazy to think about since I started July 26th 1978!

circa 1985

Cassius de La Victoria was my first Corvette delivery. He was about 80 at the time...so doubt he is still around unless he is 120 yrs of age.

Another week of great pictures. The louvered back window of the Mako Shark sure brought back boyhood memories. Thanks Mike!
