My Rolex 24 Pictures
Thought I'd share some images from a great race weekend. Not the final result we were all hoping for, but it was still a good points weekend.
Only a car guy would really appreciate this picture.
Still going strong after the overnight stints.
...and for the Ford lover in your family. HAHAHA!

Nice pictures. Did you stay through the whole 24 hours? Or did you leave and come back?

Thanks. I had fun. ...and my darling wife had tons of patience. We stayed from before the driver introductions til about 11pm then came back in the a.m. definitely got our money’s worth. Parking in the infield is very convenient. I keep threatening to camp one year, but I value my sleep too much.

However, all the races, qualifying, and practice sessions were daytime only, so it was quiet at night. You'd need noise-cancelling ear phones to sleep at a 24-hour race.

Great pics, thanks for sharing. Where you only in the infield or were you able to go into the stands as well?

We had access to the infield, grandstands and the garage/pit area. That was cool. Even my wife commented that her favorite part of the race was seeing what goes on in the background seeing the teams working tires/wheels, body parts and the teams watching telemetry on the screens. It was after dark and late into the night. That was the first time for me as well and I really enjoyed that.
