I had them on Firestone years ago but there was a recall got a whole set free.
For me the letters on the new model seem to distract from the overall design, but up close sure looks ok.
Plus a road rash would be rough.

I like it on the some of the retro Camaros, but not the up to date Vette.

De-grades the classy look of the C7 in my opinion.
I like white lettering on the C2s and 3s.

I was thinking of putting them on my Arctic White, but I love using tire dressings, and I'm afraid how they'll look after a handful of applications.

Looks nice.

I think it cheapens the look of the car.

I do like the look on this Corvette but you're right. My 1974 AMC Matador X (see below) that I sold 2 years ago, and a 1975 Bricklin I owned many years ago when I lived in FL. RWL tires were the 'thing' in the 60's & 70's.

Needs chrome wheels to make it stand out. With the black wheels in my opinion not so much.

It doesn't work FOR ME, but if it works FOR YOU, that's all that counts. Asking for affirmation after the fact is bound to disappoint. You don't really need anyone else's opinion, particularly after you've gone to the trouble of doing it.

I would also like to know more about the installation, was it difficult? Did you have to remove the tires? Also after they were installed how durable do they look to you? Do you think they will hold up to the abuse a tire goes through? Thanks and good luck with them.
yes I got the permanent they are made of rubber and are guaranteed for the life of the tire by the company so I went with those... the installation wasn't hard at all it just took awhile... I did remove the wheels to make sure I applied the perfectly but it would be possible to apply them with out taking your wheels off... they do look pretty durable though they are pretty thick rubber and as long as you use the correct amount of glue they should stay on and if they don't the company will send you a replacement for that wheel.
