Besides family and your pet the 2 prize possessions that forum members own the house being first and than their C7. The thread also makes it a little more personal to see where your forum brothers bring their C7 for a home since we know where they live in their avatar.

After getting the Corvette, my other ambition was to live on the water and now I have arrived.

Beautiful!

Without trying to buzz-kill anyone we had two waterfront homes, one on the Chesapeake Bay, and another on the Gulf Coast, and it feels amazing when it's nice. However, after many years, we sold them both because we became very weary with the stress of dealing with "named storms." Two hurricanes, Ivan and Isabel cost us a lot of money. Even without damage, the annual hurricane season worrying, boarding up, and preparing for the worst is a killer for the blood pressure.

After the last one, we made the decision to buy acreage and move inland.

The group's poor relative..... moved from country to town, downsized from 3,200 sq.ft. to 1,192 - and don't miss mowing 3.5 acres in Texas summers at all....
