30 years in our house this May. Selling and heading to AZ in 2019. No more moving snow for me (plus TWELVE months of dry roads!).

Replaced my C6 in November.

Looks like you have your own race track. That must be fun.

I would have paid for the C7 also but got the five year 0% financing deal last spring. My sales guy asked how much money I wanted to put down and then we both laughed. Such a deal.

I got 6 years at 2% or so. I financed everything, including sales tax. I took the $20k I was going to put down on it and paid off a 4% student loan (and I didn't even want to do that).

My condo neighborhood. We're looking to move in the next couple of years. Mine is the yellow one.

My C7 is in storage for the winter. It's yellow, too.

I don't know how some of you live without a yard? The main reason I don't ever want to move, is the yard, and the garage.

As long as you can make the payment(s) you've got nothing to worry about. However, the unpaid for Corvette will become a huge financial liability if you're unable to make payments, and, you're upside down on the balance. Paid for cars aren't liabilities.

Who wouldn't prefer a huge acreage/home?

I'd like to have 5 acres and a paid for $6Mil home in the Preston Hollow section of Dallas, but why would I want to pay $75K annually in property taxes?

Huge homes and lots are money pits. They return zilch in $ return. Even when paid for, they eat money like a PacMan. Big hat and no cattle, never appealed to me.

I honestly have no desire for any of that. I'll build my next home on a plot close to where I am now but there will be no lawn in I can help it. 5 story townhouse. Rooftop pool and hot tub. View like the one I have (see above) and the entire first floor will be a garage with a lift.

3500-4000 sqft is more than I could ever want. If I won the lotto tomorrow, I doubt my house dreams would change. It might have nicer finish out, but that's it. My buddy just bought a nearly 10k sqft home in Preston hollow. He's engaged and they want one kid in 5 years. I don't get it.
