Anyone not too shy to post a separate picture of their house and their C7?

Coming late to this thread because when it started the wife and I were in Vegas for a week (actually won on this trip!). About 4 years ago we picked up 42 acres of land in east Tennessee. The land is mostly all older white and red oak trees and the previous owner had cleared out a home site and then changed his mind and put it up for sale.
First we had the 1,000 square foot workshop built and then we had the house built right smack in the middle of the 42 acres. The road to the property is private and it is almost 550 feet to the main road at the edge of our property. We had a 2,300 sq ft brick house built with NO stairs inside and 36 inch wide interior doors, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. All the bedrooms were built over sized with walk in closets. The 40x12 foot deck on the rear of the house permits us to sit on the deck and drink our coffee or relax without fear of being seen by anyone. The deck access is from the family room or master bedroom. The lake has a good supply of pan fish, large mouth bass, and some pretty nice catfish. It is fed by an underground spring so the level rarely drops. We generally toss out a 50 pound bag of corn to keep the deer interested and it is fun to see them interact. We even see the occasional bob cat. The peace and quiet is addicting and there is ALWAYS something to do. So far we planted about 18 different fruit trees and some are starting to bear fruit. I built a shooting bench and have a nice "gun range" in the back yard. Have to mow about 1.5 acres every 8-10 days or so but a John Deer riding lawnmower takes care of it in about 2 hours. Wife loves all the blackberry and raspberry bushes as well as the asparagus garden boxes I built. Most all the neighbors are very friendly and will do anything they can to help you out. One of the best features is the annual property taxes on the house, property, and workshop is $1,400 a year.

My new garage...
Just went to see my new 4 car tandem garage....concrete slab to be poured later this week. On schedule for an August closing. And I was told I have to include a C7 so here is my previous TR 2014 3LT. In my current driveway. I miss Torch Red....

Its all wired in underground from the main road, same as all the utilities including water, natural gas, and electric. Plus, the builder was pretty smart. He also buried an extra conduit so we could slide in anything we liked at a later date.

Snow,
Beautiful place!
Like you, when we built our house with acreage, which was pictured way up top in this thread, we had to bring in underground power in a trench and conduit about a half mile away. There was no fiber or cable at the main road either, so I paid to have a huge gauge cable run with nothing to connect it to in the hope I could eventually convince the cable company to connect the dots on our main road.
After about a year of persuasion, they eventually did. It's kind of mind-boggling that our property is only 25-miles from the capital of the most powerful country in the world, yet there's no city water, sewer, natural gas, or any other utilities other than electricity and cable even close. We buried a 500 gallon propane tank w/ a big generator for back-up.
Also like you, we love the solitude and escape from the big city where both my wife and I work.

Fortunately, water is not a problem here with deep artesian wells. You're absolutely right that it's so worth it to bury utilities in underground conduit even though it is not cheap.
Our area is an agricultural preserve w/ primarily horse farms and cultivated fields. No subdivisions are anywhere close.
Really Boost? That's the same picture you showed me of your house at COTA last May.

Ya gotta know Boost to understand. He's a good guy, and we had a lot of fun hanging out at COTA last year, but he's really funny about keeping up appearances in his neighborhood. He doesn't want his more pedestrian cars seen at home, so he keeps the C7 off-site.
