I will not be happy if it has some turbo charged 6 cylinder engine though, or any other engine that sounds like a sewing machine.
To be honest I completely agree with you on that and I was just telling my friend who is a technician at GM that if it has a twin turbo V6 I dont think I would be interested either and to be honest PatternDayTrader he said he also heard speculations thats what it could be. I personally think GM will put the twin turbo in and see what reactions they get from buyers and fans and consider changing it over time because let be honest. People are either going to love the mid engine or hate it but either way GM knows people are going to buy it because its the next best thing in the sports car world.

When it comes out ill keep an open mind but I hope it has an 8 cylinder engine. I wouldn't even care if its say a four liter that you have to rev really high to make good power. I think the mid engine is the right move. Actually I think everyone thinks that.
Ultimately the car will be judged on its performance and as long as it does well on the track then people will accept it regardless of any perceived problems. I don't think your tech buddy is going to like doing warranty repairs on them though lol ...

Bro. it ain't about your race. it's about putting out good content!

I've watched 2 of your 3 videos so far, and they're just ok.

I'm super jealous of you - as you have a great car. And your videos show good enthusiasm. but you have to produce content that people want to see.

I have no idea what the recipe for this is, though. If I did I'd be a youtube millionaire!

What I will say is I have some video's on my youtube channel that have 10's of thousands of views - and all I did was try and provide good, helpful information. I didn't do any formatting, no photoshop - no staging, no nothing. I just answered questions that I thought people wanted answered.

The color of my skin is not shown in my videos!

Just go do your thing and try and provide content that you think is needed.

Answer questions you think need answering!

I'm gunna subscribe to your channel and bust your ***** till you do!

I actually really liked it. I still do. There's just no money in it. I never made more than a 100k per year as a tech. Not even once, and an "A" class tech has the problem solving ability to make literal fortune if he's willing to take some financial risk. Your buddy will figure that out too. Once he does, he will be out the door ....

Well I am not sure how women would feel about that haha, even though I have been to a few car shows and won and there were models there who I have taken pictures with because I won a trophy. Are you saying put them in the actually video or click bait?

Hey first off thank you for subscribing, and I completely understand your point. I want everyone to understand my first 3 videos came over the course of a month. I wanted to test the waters with what I knew and have. Now knowing that my current subscribers and followers want information on the Zr1, Zo6, grandsport etc I can answer those questions and give helpful feedback I had to start somewhere. I also came to this forum knowing I would have some open minded people and some none opened minded people haha. My friends warned me about that but just like I told them I have been through way worse things in life than receiving messages, you know? My friends know whatever I put my mind to I gets it done. So everyone advice today has been very helpful. I had some guys subscribe and some show their true colors but those are also the guys who motivates me to do what I do in life achieve goals. Even you telling me you will bust my butt to me I appreciate that. I hope you do get a corvette so we can meet on the track haha.

He probably makes less than 50k per year. Some cities are better than others, but if he is a genuinely good tech then its just a matter of time before he leaves the profession for something that either pays better, or works him less for the same pay.

I'm not educated on what it takes to make a good youtube channel. I just know what keeps me engaged and interested in the channels that I do subscribe to. One thing that I think is important is new content on a regular and frequent basis. Something new every day or two is ideal although that might not be realistic. For some reason, I can sit around watching hot laps around a track all day long. Especially if the person posting the video is doing something like breaking his personal best lap time or putting the hurt on his competition. I love stuff like that.

Looks like you have almost 500 subscribers so not to bad. 85% of any video in my opinion should be all about the car. For example, I like YouTube videos that teach me something that I don’t already know. Do things like how to do a mod, product review, how to detail, how to install things etc.

You mentioned some YouTubers that you want to be like, take what they are doing in terms of content and compare to what you are doing and figure out how to be you but innovate and learn from those who are successful. Products should sell themselves in time if they are good.

Good Luck!

Lastly, race in America has been and will always be an issue. However, you need to focus on your channel, press pass those who have biases as people are who they are and in age will not change. Surround yourself around positive people and those accept you for who you are from the inside and be happy.

Yea I agree with the new content, I just brought the car before the bad weather hit, release my first video the day before Christmas and before we got 10 inches of snow so it was hard for me to get out and make any new content. Right now its still close to 30 degrees here and I only have summer tires that GM says isn't good to drive on below 40 degrees.
