My first auto (A8). Must say in autocross the paddles seemed much quicker and didn't have to worry about the clutch. I don't think I will ever go back to standard shift.

Saw the introduction of the C65 at the NCM Bash. Loved it immediately. Ordered one on Monday after the Bash. Get a lot off positive comments and pictures made of the car. The blue accents with the gray are my favorite.

Agree with you. I also love the blue top with the ceramic grey. I am biased but I think this is the nicest C7 out there!

I've been a Corvette owner for more than 50 years! This new Carbon 65 is number 547 of 650. It's a Z06/automatic. Other than my first ('58 C1), it's my favorite Corvette yet!

I’m77 years young and sold my beloved Harley for this C7. I have owned corvettes in the past however none were as enjoyable as this.

Maybe when my GSCE is paid for I can find one of these and add it to the stable.

I just noticed this, always wondered why we didn't have a sticky like the GSCE people do, as there are much less of these. 650 world wide and less then the planned 500 for USA. Only 437 sold in the USA, all the rest were exported. Production numbers

I saw all the articles about the car. It did nothing for me. Then first week in March I went in to have oil change on my 14 Z51, Manual 7 speed that I special ordered. While waiting I saw the Carbon 65 on the show room floor. Looked real nice. I looked but not real close. Didn't really want a new car. A week later I was in Daytona for bike week with my best friend. Chevy had one on Display at the Track. Sitting in the sun it took my breath away. My best friend says, isn't that the best looking Corvette you have ever seen. I agreed.
Right after Daytona Bike week, I flew off shore to work for weeks. I kept dreaming about the car, just couldn't get it out of my mind. Second week off shore, I said to my self, just look on my dealers web site, he always orders Automatic cars, and that will put an end to my thinking about it. Looked at his web site, and damn if it wasn't an manual 7 speed. Sent an e-mail to Corvette specialist who ordered my 14 for me. Asked him what my car was worth in trade, and what he could do for discount on the Carbon 65. He sent back a deal, asking if it was close. I said not close enough, but maybe were we can work it out. About 5 e-mails later we had agreed on the price for my car, and the price for the Carbon 65.

Notice your in Dandridge, on the Lake? I'm on Watts Bar Lake.

Make that two of fifty then! I didn't realize our trans choice was that rare.

Number 447 of 650, GS Coupe with manual trans here.
I had in at the NASCAR Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval race this weekend and got a lot of compliments on the color.

Nice! Another debadger/de-decaler.

Where did you buy your decals from? I might do the same...

Thanks

My Carbon 65 did well in the Sam Houston Corvette Club showing this week! Won 3 awards including a Corvette shop's top pic, a choice award sponsored by a Marine Corp representative, and an Outstanding in Class by the Corvette club.

Really proud of the car and it got lots of attention from admirers!
