It was at a dealership in Illinois. I found it on Car Gurus, and had my local dealer get it for me.

Me and my wife were out for a spin in our Carbon 65 Grand Sport and stopped to take a few pics. Excuse the dirty wheels, too busy driving today!!

I haven't done a lot of accessorizing! I love the car pretty much just as is. I have installed a Range device to eliminate cylinder deactivation, plus the typical Expel and Ceramic coating protections.
I'm looking for wheel replacements. The wheels on Carbon 65's are made in China and perhaps even less robust than the crappy wheels on other Z06's and Grand Sports. I've bent 3 wheels and never even hit a pothole or run off the edge of the road.
I don't have anything else in mind for the car...

New C65 owner
I just bought one as a birthday present for my wife.
First Vette for us. Coming from 997 GT3, Caymans, Lotus. Figured I'd try something with an engine in the front. Laguna seca on Thursday.

To the Track in the C65
Took the C65 to
on Thursday. Really was very surprised and impressed by the handling. Did not put a tire wrong in this car, which was surprising to myself (and likely others), as I was having a dreadful day in my Spec Racer (4 spins over 6 sessions). My wife called to remind me "Make sure you don't crash my car!". Guess that's the Honey Don't Do list.
Best time was 1:40.29 in the last session, with consistent high 1:40s/low 1:41s. That included lifting from T5 to not blow sound. Going to install a GPS-based NPP controller shortly.

Not an owner, but I made my own Carbon 66
I really wanted an Carbon 65 Z06, but timing just wasn't right and I made my order in July 2019. I optioned a 3LZ with everything exactly the same, except did red stitching and calipers. I had to order the CF spoiler and scoops from GM. I call it my own special edition Carbon 66, and would never claim it to be one. I just fell in love with the design and put my own personal touch to it.

Melting Slicks
Saw a Carbon 65 Z06 for sale on FB. I'm not looking, but curious how the pricing is holding for them. Anyone know? It doesn't have a lot of info on it but those cars were pretty loaded. They are asking $69,998 out of California. I see comp seats and stage 2 spoilers.

A quick search revealed about 5 Carbon 65 Z06's for sale in America. The one you pictured is the least expensive of all of them for sale. The most expensive one is listed for $94,999. That particular one was stolen off the lot and the On-Star system disabled; so it's probably gone forever.
A couple of them are convertibles and listed in the low $80's. The sticker on mine was about $111,000 and I paid $99,000 for it. So I'd say the price is holding up about the same as other loaded Corvettes. I personally don't think the Carbon 65 will be one of the rare, highly sought after Corvettes in years to come. It's somewhat rare, but the demand for them (the 2nd factor in being a collectible) has never really exceeded the supply by any significant amount. Of course, just speculation on my part.
I love my Carbon 65, it's a bit unusual and exactly what I wanted, so I'm perfectly happy with it. I'm not expecting to get more for it when I trade it in (on a percentage basis) than any other high end 'Vette.
We will see!
