Watkins Glen Gray Metallic to be replaced this year
I just learned that Watkins Glen Gray will be cut from ordering in May. This fall a new Gray will replace the popular color. If you like WGG and are thinking about ordering a new Corvette, do it sooner than later!

Sad, but this seems to be the protocol of the C7 series, so it's to be expected. This new version might see more of a warmer, slightly lighter shade of gray.
Anything can be "bright" colored. Imho, something like the Vette needs to be more subtle. I love the "medium pewter metallic" on my C5, but of course, it doesn't have all the contrasting louvers, scoops, etc. "standing out" all over it as does a C7. I felt black was the only way to deal with such stuff, functional though it all may be.
Seem to remember GM said there will be a new gray Dark shadow gray I think they called it. Didn't seem too impressed with WGG. I wonder if thats the replacement color for WGG. Still curious about the Rythm and Blue color they also announced.

We need another bright blue back in the color palette! Something more like Laguna or Jetstream. Admiral is nice and certainly a traditional Vette shade, but its a tad too dark for my taste in anything other than super bright sunshine.
