Default 2019 Order Discounts?

I'm thinking of ordering either a Grand Sport coupe with the 2LT PKG, or just a base Stingray, but it really depends on how my taxes turn out.

I can't seem to get the dealers I've contacted to get back to me with pricing or discounts. What are some of you getting for discounts? I really just want to make a final decision so I'm ready to go when I get my taxes back!

Suggestions on dealers that actually return inquiries would be great too!

I ordered a 2019 Z06/Z07 back in December and was only able to get 10% off at Criswell Chevrolet in Maryland.

Amazing! I contacted three local dealers for a price on an ordered Corvette (at that time a 2018) and only one got back to me.

It seems like many dealers seem to be like out of sight out of mind. And I have seen some of the forum dealer salesmen the same.
They like people that come into the dealership with cash or A loan ready to happen.

Yep, another vote for Mike. 10% is a great discount in order to get a car built exactly the way you want it. I've seen up to 13% off for a dealer stock '19 at Kerbeck.

However, it is sometimes very hard, even impossible, to find exactly what you want in dealer stock, and I am the poster child for that. I wanted a Sebring Orange (SO), 2LT, Z51 convertible, w/ MSRC and M7 transmission. Never mind all the other equipment I wanted, because only 1 M7 SO Stingray convertible was built in the '18 MY, and that is mine. Only 2 SO Stingray convertibles were built in total, and the other one is an automatic.

Only 11 total SO convertibles were built (2 Stingray, 6 GS, and 3 Z06). Often ordering is the only way to get what you want.

If you are in Connecticut, you are half way between forum dealers MacMulkin and Kerbeck. I'm 40 minutes from Kerbeck and had a great experience ordering my car as well as service after the sale. So I can deft vouch for them. They already have over thirty 2019's in stock with discounts around 13% with truckloads more on the way. By March, their 2019 in-stock inventory will be in the hundreds, so they may already have what you want in-stock or already on the way. Deft worth a call.

If you order from MacMulkin you will get the beat deal and you can have the car delivered to your home area as a courtesy delivery. The courtesy delivery cost me $350.

If you can find a Chevrolet dealer that will do your tax return, you're in business.

Several car dealers advertise free tax preparation, with the purchase of a (your) new car.

When you're financing a new C7, I guess that's what I experienced too, when shopping forum dealers. However, since I was a cash ready buyer, financing never came up in the shopping process with any dealer - even the one I purchased my new C7 from.

My local dealer matched what the guys at Kerbeck and MacMulkin were offering. $10K under MSRP for a 2019 GS 2LT SO

The serious dealers will get back with you, usually quickly... locals, small-fries, etc., who knows? Even when they do they may, more often than not, be noncompetitive. (the latter from my experience last fall).

That's impressive.

What's that "$10K under MSRP" in terms of percentage off??

Who's your Chevrolet dealer?

MSRP was just at $75K and I got the car for $65K even. So I got the car for about 12 - 13 percent under MSRP on a 2019 here in Ogden, Utah. I was working with the Owner's son and they were eager to keep my business local.

I have been on the board for a few years and have learned from many posts that Forum dealers offer the best pricing and that local dealers who generally don't sell a lot of vettes charge more and are not as good about handling pre-purchase inquiries.
