Hi guys,

I'll be getting my new C7 this spring and it'll have the transparent top.

This wasn't my first choice but it was a leftover 2017 and it will give more headroom so I pulled the trigger.

But, I'm still considering getting the color matched top.

Is there a place that's better than another to buy this from?
Meaning if there's one particular dealer that sells cheaper?

I could wait for one to show up in the classifieds, but i like to keep options open.

I picked up a clear top off a local C7 Facebook page for pretty cheap.

I am a hoarder and survivalist. I purchase and keep everything I think I might need. Everyone seems to enjoy using the transparent top more than the painted carbon fiber. Give the transparent top a couple months of use if you don’t like it check here in classifieds or CL. Always one for sale. Usually $1,000 dealer would be much more.

but try the transparent first. I have both and the transparent top is on there since the first week, and was on my previous C6 for almost the entire time I had it.

I don't have a transparent for the C7 but only took the one off my C5 a couple times in 17 years, those were to please my granddaughter.

Some complain about the heat with the clear top in the summer, but even in Louisiana that's not been an issue for me. What I like best about the clear top is that it adds a feel of "airiness" to the car... less tank-like, imho.

What color do you need? I have an Artic White Top brand new (never used).
