Default What is this?

So, traded my 2015 2LT Stingray for a 2018 2LT Grand Sport. I am curious as to what the "scoops" in the photo are. I have not seen them anywhere else, and there is no mention in the sticker of a dealer installed option. Any one else seen these?

There was no previous owner as the car had 5 miles on it when I drove it off the lot. Odd that the dealer would do that, and not charge some ridiculous fee.

I have an '18 GS and I'm pretty sure those are stock. Mine came from factory like this.

They might come stock on the GS but they appeared first on the Z06.

On the z06 for track reason on the car for air duct inlets to cool brakes & trans coolant. That is if you put the lines in behind them for it to work... Robert

Yep, that's how the Grand Sports (and Z06's) come.

Yep, came with my 2017 GS. Don't recall the increase in flow to the trans and dif coolers that these provide but they also increase drag.

The drivers side scoop cools the transmission and the passenger side cools the E-differential. Standard on GS and Z06.
