Grand Sport Delivers Another Glorious Day
Had a glorious day in my Grandsport! This car is worth every penny!!!! I participated in a drive I heard about from some Able Chevy Employees. I had the best non track event day in my car yet! It was a blast! We meet up in Pacifica. I did not know what to expect as this was my first outing with this group, set up on Facebook. I arrived and only one C5 was in the parking lot. Within 10 min, a good 30 cars had showed up. The plan was to hangout, and check out everyone’s cars for a few hours, then drive HWY one and Costal roads up to Alice’s Restaurant. By the time we started out, must have been close to a hundred cars! What a group it was! All car nuts! Evo’s, Lambos, Mustangs, Corvettes, Camaros, and various imports. It was awesome before we even left! The drive up was great. We had a wonderful lunch, then a group of about 8 of us decided to head out for some more twisty roads the organizer knew of. What a drive it was, following a ZL1 1LE around some of the most beautiful, twisty CA roads I have ever driven! Attached video link is pretty boring, but shows how beautiful CA roads on the coast are in the winter, and how a ZL1 1LE looks driving in the wild.

I'm really shocked at how much I love my Grand Sport. The damn car is just such a pleasure to drive in twisties.

Foothill twisties and Alice's Restaurant are fun. About a dozen Santa Clara Corvette members drove to a Cars and Kaffeehaus event on Sunday and then to Alices Restaurant for brunch.
Fun roads but a lot of bicyclists so caution is required.

Melting Slicks
You guys are lucky. I did get the vette out today, but tonight at least 4" of snow coming and then cold. That marmot was right, more winter.

Just listening to that exhaust note as I work makes me smile! Thank you for posting that video. That road looks like it is tons of fun (and a little scary in some spots given the small size of the road)
