My question is "how do I get a car inspected by a certified mechanic"? Do I just call up an independent shop and ask them to do a full inspection? Also, will the buyback dealership be willing to tell me about the service records if I call them up tomorrow?

Thank you everyone.
Smells like a flood car to me!

You say a 2017 new was selling for $43,000 vs used ones listed for more money. You can't compare base 1LT no options cars to 2 & 3LT cars with options? The car to you sounds like a good buy now but when you go to sell or trade it you will wished you bought a non branded titled car
