Default I bought this beautiful steering wheel from CF vendor RFE

I was apprehensive about sending my money to a small company in Russia but after reading a few posts here on the forum, using PayPal and communicating with Vasily from RFE design , a forum vendor, through emails I had felt it would be ok and it was.

Don't be afraid to deal with Vasily what he promised is what he delivered an excellent product.

I ordered the C7 steering wheel February 1st, Vasily said it would take about 15 days to get to me in NYC when he shipped it on the 2nd, including days sitting in NYC customs. He provided me pictures and shipping info .

The wheel arrived today and I installed it, took me about 1 hour since it was the 1st time I did a C7 wheel. I did do my C6 wheel a few years ago so I had some idea how to do it.

this is his thread

Awesome!!!
I like how the center section is lower and give a better view of the lower part of the insterment panel.

Beautiful... might have to get one myself. How is the thickness compared to OEM? I like a thicker wheel.

Yes it's thicker, you can email Vasily and he will give you the thickness and I think he can build it any way you want

That looks awesome, I so need this to match my carbon fiber interior trim, but at $1200 is bit pricey for me.

George, now that you have the beautiful steering wheel, consider getting a leather horn pad. The OEM horn pad is the only thing left in plastic inside. It would really finish the look for your steering wheel.

What is the difference between the F1 style wheel and the OEM, being that the OEM is flat bottomed? is it anything like this pic I found on google search ?
