New Grand Sport vs Used Grand Sport
Is it just me or does buying a used Grand Sport make no sense? It seems like the prices for low mileage used GSs are virtually identical to the new ones at the bigger dealers. Is there any advantage to buying used that I might be missing?

Yes, if you find a used one with low millage and in great condition equipped exactly with features and color combo you want and aren't able can't find new one equipped as you like.

Remember, with a new one you get an option to go to the Ron Fellows 2 day driving school...if that's something you're interested in.

For me, if I could find a new GS for about the same price as a used one, it would be a no brainer - go with the new (provided they are similarly equipped and in the right color combo).

In several Western states the is no Sales Tax
on Private Party Sales which save 5000 to 6000.
I do not know anything about back East.
Check out my 2017 Grand Sport Z07 (1600 Miles)
in the For Sale section....$59,500.
They should send you a poster with driving school
info shorty after purchase (month or so for me)

I had the same thought and came to the same conclusion last year. After spending a few months looking at used Grand Sports, I picked up a new one the same (sometimes less) than used ones were going for.

I’m more of a “buy new” kind of guy. You don’t have to do any guesswork in terms of how the car was maintained or driven.
In terms of buying a C7, it seems like buying used lets you buy a higher trim level at close to the same price as you would pay for a lower trim level of the same model. For example, when I bought my 1LT Z51 back in November, I was also looking at a 2014 Z51 3LT that was fully loaded. All said and done, the new 1LT costed about $3K more out the door. With that price difference, it just made more sense to me to buy new.
One point to consider though is that I really didn’t care for all of the extra features that the 3LT came with. I preferred the simplicity of the 1LT over the luxury of the 3LT, so this tradeoff made sense to me. Had the luxury options been important to me, I would have been more inclined to buy the used 3LT.

I recently purchased a new '18 GS. I contacted Ron Fellows about the model years stated on the website, for whatever reason they have not updated it. I was told the 'racing school' deal does include 2018-19 models. I also received a letter from Chevrolet yesterday with the invitation for $1k to Spring Mountain (Ron Fellows) in Nevada.

W/ some pf the discounts that is absolutely correct. I see zero advantage in buying a pre-owned. In fact you may be getting someone else's problem. Order a new one and get it "your way".
