Default C7 ZO6 price point

Hey guys, new to the forum from Cali bay area and I am starting to shop for my C7 ZO6. (coming from an M2) looking for torch red with 7spd mt and open to trim level. Found a new 2017 2LZ but asking for 83k... Is this the norm around this time of year for a Vette? Thought I'd find an easier time specially from a 2017 when it comes to price point . What do you guys think

Depends on Trim level. I got 13K off MSRP in August. Should be able to do better now. You will love the car. I came from a 16 M3. The Z is a different beast.

Here is a new 2018 Z06 2LZ, Torch Red/Black interior, MSRP $89,240, sale price $79,396.00. Located at a Dealer here in Penna. But it is an Automatic.

You may also want to expand your search to used and/or Certified Pre-Owned (CPO.) For instance, this CPO 2018 Z06 3LZ [ok not torch red but long beach metallic tint] w/ 1K miles is $79.9K. I setup searches with major online used-car for-sale engines [not sure if I can name them here] and eventually found a low-mileage CPO '16 Z51 2LT torch red convertible.

Found this gorgoes zo6 2LZ 6,900 miles asking 72k and I would have to ship it to Cali from the East coast . It does have Corsa Helix X-Pipe and Corsa Extreme exhaust installed. Stock tune remains and Performance Data Recorder

I don't want to discourage the OP, but he/she should search here for threads on buying used cars that had a tune. Even if it's been removed, it can still void the warranty. Methinks that any modded (even just exhaust) car would raise a flag.

You don't have your location in your profile. That might help.

On 12/30/17 I bought a 2017 2LZ 8sp Z06 with PDR with only 5 miles on the Odometer from Monica at Boardwalk, a forum dealer, for 20% off MSRP. MSRP was $89,325. I paid $71,237 plus $80 in doc stamps. No dealer fee no or anything else besides the transport fee to Miami.

Thanks guys I'm from California bay area btw. Seems like all the great deals are coming from Florida and the east coast.. can't seem to find anything in Cali atm. Still eyeing the very first one I found but don't think he'll go lower than $70k.

Thanks for the advise but it's only an exhaust upgrade. Tune has always been stock from what I undeeunder it's still under warranty

What is the MSRP Vs what the dealer is asking? It depends on what other options are on the car. 2LZ is a trim option and doesn't include Comp Seats, Nav/PDR, Z07 and several other options that can significantly affect the price. A 2LZ with comp seats ($2000), Nav/PDR ($1900), carbon fiber package ($2000) and Z07 ($8000) would be a bargain at $83K.

Good find thanks! But I can find similar biulds for under 70k. So have to consider that too. The one I'm eyeing is exactly what I want inside and out. The interior is like no other and I haven't seen another Vette with that interior option plus paint protection the Corsa exhaust. I did email her so I'll probably drop by this weekend and check it out. Thanks again

It does have the carbon option nav pdr but that's it. I disagree no 2017 zo6 is worth paying $83k. I can buy a brand new one for that price. Also this is coming from a private sale not a dealer.

What made you want to move on from the M2? Heard it was a good car, just a bit under powered.

It's a great car! Love driving it everyday but really can't do much else to it. I've already swapped out the turbo and went with Dinan's Big Turbo, intercooler, etc setup and though I'm pushing a decent 420hp i. I'm left with wanting more. Plus I've always been an American muscle car type of guy so just coming back to my roots

Considering some of them listed upwards of $120K and the best deals are giving around a 20% discount it is probably still possible to find new 2017s that will sell for more than $83K.

I misunderstood your term about new as it is only new to you and not a new car.
