Thanks for taking the time to put all those GREAT pics in generation order for us. The C1 pics and the line of white C6 verts are real classics. I hope that you have all your pics backed up in more than one place.
You really should start working on your 1st coffee table book of classic Corvette pics. It would surely be sold out.

I'm pretty sure there are enough Corvette books out there right now. It would be a tough sell to the publishers.

Pretty neat stuff Mike. When I think of Corvette, I think of Mike Furman. Congrats to you and all your success over the years Mike.

Those C4 delivery trucks look like an origami puzzle of some sort.

Thanks Mike. Those Delavan car carriers are monsters! Looking at the pictures I can't remember seeing anything that large on the road in all of my 50+ years of driving. Very cool thread.

Just mind boggling how you consistently come up with so many different pictures week in and week out, rarely ever repeating photos.

Agree with the Mod above...... great never before done story line.

And Corvettes are still being delivered to the dealerships using the same basic methods, only thing that has changed is the cost!

Then you just missed Furman at his sales desk on your way to the Parts Dept.!

Those were great years for Konner, with Zora Duntov attending Konner’s annual Corvette Car Shows at the Konner dealership.

And here Furman is 40 years later as the most prolific Corvette sales rep. G.M. and the Corvette brand has ever known.

Mike,
I've been following your threads..they're great! I'm from NJ and remember your Paramus employer well. Anyway, my cousin lives in Springfield, VA and just purchased a 13 GS from Criswell. He told me that it was the best car buying experience of his life.
I'll "stay tuned" and will be in touch when the C8 is on the radar screen. By the way, how is your son doing after his accident?

Regards,

Lou V

Hi Lou, Thank you for asking. I'd say physically he is at 85% and mentally 70%...6 years this July and it's still hard to believe. Glad he is on the right side of the turf. Been a long road. He just finished his 4 yr degree from home 14 mos. ago and next year at this time he will have his Masters completed from home as well.

For those of you that don't know. Here is an old post.

Wow Mike, I had no idea. That occurred during my lengthy hiatus from the Corvette world (08-16). I wish you and Tyler all the best.

Glad to here Tyler is doing well Mike! Beth and I were thinking about you tonight. We took the car to dinner with the top down (74 degrees in Atlanta with spring in full bloom and it’s still February!) and met a nice Marine (Jason) and his wife (Tiffany). Bought them some drinks and had a great time visiting with them. When he learned we were in the Vette, he wanted to see it as it has been a dream of his to own one someday. We let him sit in it and took some pictures on his phone, answering all his questions and encouraging him to pursue the dream! I gave hm your contact info so maybe someday when he is ready, he’ll give you a call.
