Triple Tail Light Club
C2 folks have triple tail light club, or as some call it, six tail lights.

How would it look on a C7 Corvette?

I've always been a huge C2 fan and have recently become quite a C7 fan as well as both are GREAT designs. So I tend to prefer leaving each as they are, near perfect for their era.

Nothing wrong with paying homage, but I don’t like it on the C7. Some things are best left in the past like the spit rear window that some were trying to fabricate.

Thanks a lot. Now I have that song in my head.

Oh no! Glad you caught that! I have to get it fixed. Old men shouldn't type!

Well back in the day the 1958 Impala sported 6 tail lights and with the exception of 1959 kept that tradition for a very long time. The C2’s copied that to be different and it actually looked pretty good.

I'll pass on more deluxe-ness for my C7.

"The customizing fad was inspired by the styling conventions of the Chevrolet passenger cars of the period—1958 through 1965, roughly. In these years, the bottom-feeder Biscayne and Bel Air models were equipped with two taillights per corner, while the top-of-the-line Impala (’61 shown here) sported three per side for an extra bit of flash.
I remember being able to tell which cars were deluxe models by just looking at the taillights...the 2 per corner being the base/stripped models with the higher level ones having 3 per side.
