First car was a 1967 Plymouth Belvedere. I got it for my 16th birthday in 1974. First Vette was an 82 CE I bought in 1985 with 2700 miles on it. Latest (won't be my last) Vette is a 2017 Z06 coupe.

My first car is a MG TD which I got in 1966 while in high school.
The Corvette is a 14 Z51 M7
Photo taken last week when I had the TD out for a shake down cruise after doing some tinkering on it.
Driving them back to back illustrates how much development has been done on sports cars in 6 decades.

Technically my first car was a 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air my grandfather gave me after he could not drive anymore. I was maybe 15 at the time in 1973. But it needed a lot of work. I tried fixing it and got it running but it did not last long. It needed a new oil pump and the bearings eventually failed. Sold it for $35. Never really got to use it. My first car that I received upon high school graduation that I actually used and kept for almost 7 years was a 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda with a 383 HP. Probably my last new car is the 2016 Z51 3LT I purchased new in June 2016.

1965 merc cyclone 289hipo 4 speed was my 1st. Last is the 2014 Z51 3lt auto, but since turn it into a Z06 with parts from trunk monkey .
