Default *Corvette Legend Passing~Blue/Red Delivery post 02/25/18 Barn finds etc~Mike Furman**

~Incredible sadness yesterday as I learned of the passing of Rick Berry from Dover, Delaware. I am so fortunate to have known him these past few years, just a true Corvette legend and a fine gentleman. Just a few weeks ago I attended the 50th Anniversary of the First State Corvette Club (Rick was one of the founding members) at his house. I am so glad to have spent the afternoon with him amongst many of his Corvette friends. My condolences to his wife Linda and entire family. Rick was a friend to all and Corvette enthusiast always. Godspeed my friend. Miss you already.

Rick Berry and I surrounded by his incredible collection of Corvette memorabilia just three weeks ago.

~Ray D. Of Marco Island called me last week looking for a cool looking Z06 and I told him about a few different 2019 Z06’s that I had inbound. This Admiral Blue with Adrenaline Red Z06 arrived on Monday and we completed the paperwork/payment process Thursday. Friday I met the Plycon truck driver as he is picking up two of my customers Corvettes headed South. Ray’s new 2019 Z06 Cpe is a 2LZ Pkg with Chrome badges, CF instrument panel, Auto trans, chrome wheels, Navigation/PDR and red seat belts. Should be on Rays driveway in Marco Island, FL by Tuesday.

~Michael P. Of Lewisville, North Carolina called me two months ago and was between ordering an ‘18 or ‘19 Z06 Cpe. I answered his questions and he chose to wait and order a new 2019 Z06 Cpe in Blade Silver Metallic. Equipment list includes 2LZ Pkg, CF ground effects Pkg, CF hood stripe, 7 spd manual trans and Nav/PDR. Plycon trucking picked it up Friday and Michael had it on Saturday. Vin#0007.

The first several hundred 2019 Corvettes built had this sign in the window. That way the line workers could differentiate the 2018's/2019's on the plant floor without having to check the vin #'s. I must have had 40 Corvettes arrive with this sign on the dash.

~Other deliveries that left the yard...

~Dave B. of Cape Coral, Florida received his 2018 Carbon 65 Z06 with 7spd and is thrilled!

~Spring is around the corner and that means...

...5 completely full Corvette truckloads arrived this week. 3 in one day alone.

~The Frank Class Corvette Barn find and throwback section. Post up which photo you like the best.

I sincerely hope GM considers this color Gold for a C7 someday soon.

Hope to see everyone at the Bash. I will be there April 24th-27th.

This says it all.

My 2nd Corvette (of 18) that I have owned...almost 30 years ago! 1961 Black with Red interior and silver coves.

~Have a great week!

As always Mike, a great post with fantastic throw-backs.

I am am ok with brining back the gold from the C-3 generation, but my money for the C-3 color is Steel City Grey!
