In his ad he references "Corsa Helix X-Pipe". I'm pretty sure that deletes the secondary Cats? I know for sure it does with the Borla X-Pipe (I have it installed on my car). That may be a big problem for you in California with inspections. If you do still have interest in the car, make sure you ask if he has the OEM exhaust in case the Corsa is a problem. I kept mine just for this reason.
Looks like a sweet car -- good luck -- tom

Eyes on before commitment is really the only way to approach this ... especially with that much coin on the table ...

One thing that concerns me.. I was looking at used Shelby GT350's and noticed that Texas had a lot of them for cheaper than almost anywhere else. Call me paranoid, but after all the flooding in Texas last year it woudd concern me. Not saying to rule it out but another thing you really have to watch for is flood damage. Tons of scams out there.

if it's modified in any way, it has to pass emissions, it will not pass if it's been modified. Run don't walk away.

Default Interesting.....

.....I replaced the exhaust on my '14 because it was a 1lt and the stock exhaust was not great ( chose the Corsa Sport) but wouldn't that Zed 06 have the multiple mode exhaust?

There are so many between you and there, unless it is EXACTLY the one or the price changes dramatically I would look closer to home. But hey, the heart wants what the heart wants.

Good luck and enjoy the dilemma.....

There are plenty of dealers selling brand new Z06’s for 10%-18% discounts. You might be better off to consider that kind of purchase.

Good advice.

Buying a car like this is dumb without checking all the boxes first.

2000 to 2200 is a better number for shipping. The rates he quoted must be a broker. Your car may get swapped from truck to truck ect... Door to door shipping enclosed will be 2000 and up.
