Probably right, but I'd be an outlier. I absolutely love the overall color combo of the GS CE, and the Tension Blue interior is what put it over the top to my taste, but if I had to pick a single favorite exterior color of the entire C7 run to date it would overwhelmingly be Laguna Blue!
Had Laguna Blue survived long enough to be an option on the GS, I'd have had a difficult decision to make when I was ready to buy last summer.
Blade Silver and Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic. If DSOM was available on a 17 GS it would have been a very hard decision on which color too buy. I love colors that change in sun, shade, different lighting. Here is the one I ordered,

FWIW, had a harder time picking a color for my 2017 Grand Sport than usual!

Yellow 2008 with Black interior and Gray wheels
Crystal Red Metallic 2014 with 3LT Kalahari interior and Black wheels
In 2014 the 3LT Kalahari covered the full dash and much of the doors. That was reduced in later years and IMO (and others) cheapened the look. Was not going to pay for a 3LT for what looked to me as a "patch quilt" mixed black and other color interiors!
Decided the Grand Sport would have Black interior and all I needed was included in a 2LT. Then the debate with myself and my wife, what exterior color? Wanted something different than what I had before and wife and I did not like some colors. Thought the new "Sterling Blue Metallic" looked good in pics. However there were mixed comments from folks who saw it in person and was not going to order that color until I saw it. In fact never did see one before the color was discontinued!
Then saw a white C7 Z51 with a 2LT red interior at the local dealer. Brought the wife to look at it and she really liked the interior and the white exterior! Never had a white car so decided why not! Ordered the Grand Sport from Kerbeck and found a small local Chevy dealer not too far away who accepted Courtesy Delivery for $250! Great folks and the relatively young service manager's wife has a 2016 C7! Only their C7 Tech touches Vettes.
Love it with the aluminum faced gray wheels!
Like the Arctic White exterior and Red Interior. ordered the optional Red Seat Belts as well.
Although I did not like the extra Red on the 3LT glove compartment and door, I did think the red upper dash pad looked good so bought it for ~$300. Of interest, GM announced the 2018 2LT dash would have the upper dash panels in the seat color! They obviously also thought it was a good idea!
Machined Faced Aluminum Wheels with Jake Center Cap. Note center cap comes with gray and black backgrounds. These have a gray background maching the wheels.
I agree with an earlier post.Most ppl prefer what they have.
Over the years,I've had many diff colors.If I only had one car,I would go with Black,but I've got 2 black cars now and do not want another so,AW for me this time.Plus it's somewhat cooler in the SC heat of summer.
Another reason I chose white....some other colors shout "look at me".I'm not into that.I prefer to slide under the visual radar.
Shark gray. When I got out of the Navy I said no more gray. Guess it grew on me. Other than the C7 the wife's Camry is gray, my truck is gray, the inside of my garage is two tone gray. As I type this, my sweatshirt is gray and my hair is gray.
