Any way to check/confirm GM mag ride update was done?

As with most, the results were better than the original calibrations. I have not really put it to the track test, but Tour and Sport mode are better (IMO). For me, Tour mode now feels like your tires are lower on air ONLY when hitting your not so favorite road bumps ie. manhole covers, small re-paved pot holes, and other obstacles at lower speeds. High speed is not the same as low speed but still different and in a good way, planted (IMO). I always drive in Sport steering and it does not feel any different to me on the street. Thanks to Winter, I have not had the opportunity to performance test it where it actually matters.
It is definitely worth the money spent, especially since Wifey can feel the physical differences from the passenger seat.

"I ran the TIS report to check on my updated MRC. 2017 GS Coupe A8 FE4 and see a strange annotation under part # 84059231 (Operating System line 2).
It states "5.0 requires updates to version 6.0 to mitigate the potential for unintended damper circuit faults (C0575, C0580, C0585, and C0590 with subtype byte $1A )."
Anyone have any experience with this message?
Do I need to talk to service manager? "
Update, I spoke with the service manager and he recommended I bring my car in for the Corvette technician to run a diagnostic. I did so this morning and the tech was a bit bewildered as he had never seen this before. He indicated this was in the operating system portion of the computer software.
He is calling the Corvette engineering staff and will have to get back with me as the code numbers don't match. He is keeping the service ticket open and hopefully I'll here from him early next week.
I'll keep the forum informed with I know when I know it.

Does your car actually have 84059231 installed in it? The dealer can check by going into the module info screen in GDS. That calibration was replaced by 84213967. If your car has the newer calibration, then there's nothing to worry about.

Took my 2018 Z06/Z07 in yesterday for new tires and also had them upgrade the MRC. I was told that GM charges dealer $350 which they pass on to the customer, so based on what I have read in this thread, the dealer treated me fairly. I will say that I had to do quite a bit of convincing to get them to the point of understanding the fact that this is an UPGRADE as opposed to an UPDATE. That said, one must remember that, although my dealer is a large one, (for Montana), there is only one other Z06/Z07 in western Montana, so they had never heard of the MRC upgrade.
Anyway, as promised here are the before and after results of the "TIS" checks on my car.

I was told by the Technician that my car being a 2018, majority of upgrade would apply to low speed operation, softening the pitch and roll in rough-road conditions, confirming that which Jeff has stated in this thread. Presently the private road accessing my home is being hammered by the spring thaw, so many potholes (soft-edged) must be negotiated at speeds of one (yes 1) to four MPH, causing considerable pitching and rolling. No sharp impacts whatsoever, though. I noticed no change. That said, the car had not sat for the post-upgrade requisite 8 to 12 hours, yet. I'll be going out later today, traversing the same road, so I'll update this post upon my return.
UPDATE
Just returned home. If there is an improvement in low-speed pitch and roll on rough roads, I was unable to discern it.
Many thanks again, Jeff, for educating us on this upgrade!

Mine has 84059231 (Operating System line 2) and the tech said it should be 84213967 but having consult with engineers and see what to do.
Come on guys, surely someone has experienced the operating system upgrade message and has some knowledge of the "fix". Still waiting for a call back from the technician........

This is why I hesitated to post this stuff in the first place.
That message does not mean your car is "broken" or that it needs to be "fixed". It's an incomplete note from whoever wrote the software that they wanted to address some sub-optimal condition. For all we know, 84059231 is the fixed version, and this note is just explaining why they updated it to 6.0 prior to releasing it to production.
This is why GM tells their dealers not to program things unless the car is experiencing an actual problem.
If your car isn't throwing those error codes, then don't worry about it.

I don't think anyone has nailed that down yet. Based on feedback so far, it looks like "less than 24 hours" but more than "right now".

I just had the upgrade done Monday, and it is showing that it is updated. My dealer didn't charge me for the upgrade. They said it was free so I didn't fight with them. I did pay for an oil change since the car was already there. I can tell a big difference in the ride on touring. I haven't played with sport yet.
