Default More Snow! Meanwhile, car sleeps..

This is getting old. New car in the garage, can't drive it.
I got a great deal on a '17 last Fall. Traded my '15 C7 convertible.
I drove it from the dealer and it has 38 miles on it!
I put it away as a new car and now it's 2 years old!! With 38 miles!!
I knew this would happen but why did Chevy screw up the model years?
The used cars all depreciated a year early and dealers are stuck with inventory-new and used.
We have more weeks of crap weather ahead. I refuse to drive the C7 in the crap. Saving if for the next owner, just like I always do.
I know I can move south. Im shopping for a house in FL.

Or you could move north, we have no snow here in the Toronto area, I've been driving my new C7 a lot this winter, I already have over 1200 miles on it, and I picked it up on Dec 20th.

Seriously though, Florida is the best bet. My wife and I will be spending our winters there starting in 2022. We've had enough of the cold and the snow.

Just got a foot of heavy wet snow here in central mass, but where you live is one of the snowiest places around! You must be used to it by now?
Daylight savings tomorrow so spring is coming.
Hang in there.

I'm in a worst situation. Bought a new 2017 leftover in February so it's stuck in a warehouse I can't drive it home until the temperature is no longer a threat to the tires.

If at least it was in my garage I could "get to know it" a little...

The Great White North, no better place to live.
all the defectors should hand in the passports and move on, just like Tom Connors said."but if you don t believe your country to come before yourself, you can better serve your country by living somewhere else"

I purchased my 2017 in November of 17. Delivered in December 17. Off the truck and into my garage after a 4 mile drive. It's been there ever since. Come on springtime!

Agree! I'm definitely stayin is the US! I'm not even going to vacation outside the 50. Well, maybe I'll venture to Canada. It's an incredible place and I've had a lot of fun at Georgian Bay in my younger days.
But...You northern neighbor friends can move south too but you won't get as far as Buffalo!

This must be a tread for What did you not do to your C7 today this year. My July ordered 18 GS was built and delivered last Dec. I drove it home and it has 5 miles on the odometer as I type. My car will forever have more hours connected to the trickle charger than it will with the engine running. 1,800 hours and counting on the battery tender.

I'm moving to Canada where they have a 12 month driving season.

On Long Island, it has been one of the toughest winters for Corvette use in a long time.
It got extremely cold and snowy in mid-December, and since that time, we have had just enough snow and 32-34 degree days with rain, that the roads have been in a continuous state of salt coating for almost 3 months.
Usually we have nice weather (relatively) so that you can drive the Corvette through New Year's day and then get some nice and salt free road days every week or two from mid-February onward - not this year; and it doesn't look good for the next 2-3 weeks.

At least it's in your garage. Mine has been in off-site storage since November. Garage is under construction and 80% done, but no driveway (and thus no way to get the car into it) until mid April at the earliest.

Sad story with this weather. Got back from Florida Sunday, tomorrow Van Bortel is delivering my 2019 Z06 Convertible. Had to shovel the driveway today to make sure it will make it to the garage. I guess I will be looking at it for a few weeks before I get to feel the power.
