I don't have a stinger hood stripe but really like the way they look. I just wish they were painted as I have a hard time with stickers. How is the quality of the stinger stripe on you guys that got them compared to the rest of the paint on the hood and hood vents? I remember when I got my car wrapped in XPEL the installer said if my car came with a hood stinger he said he could not wrap that part with the Xpel film. Thanks Dave

Purchased Scotchprint 1080 black metallic film (3 x 5) for $30 and 3M knifeless tape for $25. My car has a full hood Xpel so the stinger stripe is on top of the Xpel.
Applying the 1080 film is a bit more difficult because the vinyl film sticks very well to the Xpel vs the adhesion to paint.
My car is WGG. The stinger stripe matches the hood vent and the carbon black painted side skirts.

I like it. Ordered my car with the Jake Stinger, Carbon Flash mirrors, badges and Carbon Flash level 2 aero.

Well since you asked for my OPINION, I personally prefer it nice and clean without one. But I also am in the minority and prefer the nice clean lines of the Stingray over the wide bodies. But that's one of the things that is great about the C7, it comes in so many different configurations that it's easy to please everyone!

Local company made ours. Slightly different lines, ran on inside of body line and left an area between louvers and stripe. For me, I feel it complimented the side emblem.
Total cost for entire package, $300 installed.

I prefer no stripe. I come from the "less is more" school. Less badging, less chrome, etc.. I view the C7 as a world class sports car and I try to keep mine as simple, conservative, and elegant as possible. I think the greatest compliment I got on my old C6 was when someone at a gas station said my car was tastefully moded.

My C7 vert is Old School. Classic C1 Corvette White, BLK interior, BLK top. Traditional.
