Default ***4 new Corvettes sold to one family in 90 minutes!3/11/18 del. post~Mike Furman***

~A forum reader had asked me recently what is the most new Corvettes that I have sold one person in my 40+ years of selling Corvettes? The answer is 30+ to one Pennsylvania customer but I have several other customers in the Baker's Dozen category and in this next Family story I did something I had never done...4 new Corvettes to one family in one morning and it happened this past Wednesday.

~Tom P. Of Ellicott City, MD usually buys two new Corvettes every year from me and trades some very low mileage vehicles...well Wednesday he traded in his sons Black ‘18 GS for a Torch Red ‘19 GS...he also ordered a new Orange ‘19 GS for himself...and his cousin placed his ‘19 Stingray order...and to top it off his Father and step Mother picked out a new ‘19 Arctic White GS Cpe From stock. So 4 Corvette deals in one morning to the same family. The Torch Red 19 GS Cpe has Auto trans, Red calipers and 1 LT Pkg. I would say they are a Corvette family and no one would argue.

~Clyde R. Of Freeland, MD came to see me at Criswell 9 weeks ago to order a new 2019 Z06 Cpe to be specially prepared by Callaway. Clyde chose 2LZ Pkg, Comp Sport Seats, Auto trans, Visible CF ground effects, CF instrument panel, Navigation/PDR and Z07 Pkg! This Watkins Glen Gray Z06 is seriously fast!! These pics are from the Callaway Hdqtrs in CT.

~Jayson W. Of Winchester, Virginia factory ordered his 2014 Black Z51 Cpe from me and this week he made an appt. to purchase this stunning in stock 2019 Sebring Orange Tintcoat Z06 Convt!!! Options include:3LZ Pkg, Auto trans, Black calipers, Chrome Wheels and so much more. Trading his beloved ‘14 Z51 became easy after seeing his new Corvette. The ground shook when Jayson first started his new 650hp Z06 this morning!

~Sang Y. Of Columbia, MD found me on the Forums and we spoke about picking out a new Corvette Z06. He checked my Corvette dedicated website and found a 2019 Admiral Blue Z06 that just arrived. He and his girlfriend Jennifer took an Uber to the dealership so they both could drive home together in this beauty. Option list: 2LZ Pkg, Competition Seats, Visible Carbon fiber hood insert, Visible CF ground effects Pkg, CF instrument panel, Black Wheels, Nav/PDR, CF painted mirrors, 7spd manual trans and so much more.

~Tom C. of Stevenson Ranch, California found me years ago on the Forums and he had sent me several Corvette customers so when it came time for his brand new 2018 Stingray Convt. he called me and we put together a factory order for his Ceramic Matrix Gray with Black interior Corvette. I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery at a near by Chevrolet dealer in California.
Below is his new ride and the first pic shows Tom and his wife Elke.

~Jeff D. Of Centerville, VA has bought several Corvettes and Impala’s from me and even spent a few days together at Spring Mountain Race Track in Nevada last October. We’ve also played a few rounds of Golf together and I was at his Club in his foursome when he got his one and only hole in one! This week he traded his 2015 Mustang GT Convt. For this 2017 Camaro Indy 500 Pace Car. #12 Festival car that was featured on the Indy 500 Race track last year!! Very Rare Indy 500 Pace Car with tons of documentation.

~Others that left the yard this week....

Calvin, another Corvette customer bought a Jeep as his ever day ride.

~The Frank Class Corvette throwback and Barn find section...Please post up your favorite from todays thread.

Great pictures Mike. Thanks for another great Sunday thread.

I chose this throw back picture. Can't tell if it's a '59 or '60 from this shot.

I only dream of being in a place to one day be able to constantly trade into a new Corvette every few months lol. God Bless them.

For now? I'll have to stick with my ancient artifact I picked up from you once upon a time...

Do they even make parts for this model any more? Lol

these threads are getting tougher to read every week without imagining myself in a new Z06 convertible Mike... Thanks? Lol

1969

"The second generation (C3) of the Sting Ray had a body that was styled after the Mako Shark II concept car and it was in production until 1982. C3 coupes were the first ones to have T-tops. In 1969 the name was changed to what we are familiar with today, Stingray, all one word. ’69 was also the only year that C3 buyers could choose between side pipes or rear exhaust with chrome tips."

Great post and wonderful pictures - once again!

My favorite one this week is the ubiquitous pretty green C3 - which looks wonderful under any lighting conditions. The first runner-up is the photo of G. Gordon Liddy with his early 1990s C4. Who can forget the "H20GATE" license plate on it? I wonder if he still owns it.

He must be 87 or 88 years old by now, if I recall correctly. He used to have a great talk show about 20 years ago. His voice always reminded me of "Maxwell Smart" as played by actor Don Adams.

The second runner-up is the back end of the 1967 with the NY tag on it.

Keep these Sunday posts coming! I know how hard you work to find the material, but it is well worth it.
