Default $2.00 for 3 months SiriusXM

Just ordered my three months of SiriusXM for $2.00 + tax. I know most don't like to give a credit card number but this was a great deal for me did anyone else get the offer?

A $2 REACTIVATION FEE
Offer Expires 4/1/18.

Thought I'd share. If not allowed please delete.

Well if you like the XM radio, $2 is nothing for the service. Keep in mind they will renew the subscription on that credit card so you will have to cancel it if you don't want it.

I keep getting notices to renew with the first months free but have to pay the balance for the year. Haven't yet seen the $2, maybe that's the next email. I mainly use my phone via Bluetooth for my music so have no need to pay for radio.

That's how they get you. The auto renew they do is a PITA and they are counting on you either forgetting or when you do call to cancel, they will give you another 6 months at $20-$30 and auto renew you again after that and hope you forget. At full price it is an absolute ripoff.

They will remind you when it's getting ready to expire, you can cancel anytime. I turned my wife's car on too for four dollars and change.

I have it worked out that in 3 months, I can do 6 months on both cars for $50.00 ($25.00 apiece for 6 months). And I can do it with a check at that time, not having to use the credit card.

when I bought my car I wouldn’t give them my credit card for onstar or the Sirius. My dad did on his new gm product and it was a 45 minute hassle to cancel. Being on hold listening to the benefits blah blah blah.
I’d do one subscription if Sirius was 20 bucks a year so long as I could carry it to my daily drivers and rental cars on biz trips. But otherwise it ain’t worth it.

I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience however I have no problems with them.

I had talked to numerous people who English was not their first language but I did speak with someone in Colorado this time who was very professional and polite.

I didn't know it was on. LOL

You have to admit running low 10's N/A with an LS6 is pretty good

Nice to see you are a new C7 owner lol. Sold my 10.30 stick NA C5 and bought a C7 A8 at the end of 2014.

My wife was the one who actually talked me into selling the C5's. She had been telling me for years "if you sell your cars, I'll buy you a new one" and I just kept saying "baby doll, you don't understand, those are My cars"! But keeping them was getting to be a pain. I was on the 3rd motor with the 98, had dialed in the vacuum pump and tuned it when #7 piston developed a crack, So I built an LS1 that I expected to run 9's N/A. The tuner was doing the short block swap and was going on 2 years of not having the car.

Finally, I decided I would test drive a new one and decided to just trade up for something a bit more quiet and way less smell from not running cats.

The guy that bought my 04 took it out to the track and ran some 10.0's and I'm pretty sure they both have 9 second passes NA, the 04 had already been 9.51 @ 145 on a 100 shot. The new Holley Dominator V2 would have let me drop a bigger pill.

She went for a drive with me to Daytona today, she hated riding in the other ones because of the noise and smell. Now I have the ac on and listening to SiriusXM radio ... I did get the 7 speed - she doesn't like to drive a stick! Thanks!

Doesn't matter if you want it or not, you'll get spam forever from them if you give the dealer your email and accept the free trial period......almost daily emails. I don't want it since I pretty much either listen to NPR or my iPhone music list all the time. Thanks for reminding me to make sure my new car doesn't have the "free" trial period. Hate it!

Not a problem, you are very welcome
Yeah it's very upsetting to receive the new welcome and basic information emails. I'm just now starting to let it go and move on from it.
