Best to order from Kerbeck or Criswell

I live in the north suburbs of Chicago. Was very disappointed dealing with local dealers when looking for my C7 about a year ago. I contacted Kerbeck but they wanted to charge a high doc fee. I contacted Alan Johnson at Matick Chevrolet in Detroit and he was very knowledgeable. responsive, transparent on the pricing info and gave a great deal.
I ordered my C7 from him and picked it up about 6 weeks later. Had fun driving my new car from Detroit to Chicago with my 20 year old son.

I purchased a CPO car from Mike Furman at Criswell. I know there are more variables when dealing with a used C7, but the deal at Criswell was the best I could find anywhere and they matched the best trade-in offer I had from any dealer. So yes, I'm still very happy with the deal I made with Mike.

It will vary, first find the dealers in your area that will accept it! For my Grand Sport I ordered from Kerbeck and found one in a small town that was a flat $250, not a penny more. They do Couresy Delivery for the largest employer in the town (has ~3000 employees.) Found them with phone calls to Chevy dealers in my area. Talked only to the finance manager, don’t ask to talk to a Salesman or Sales Manager, they get paid on commission for selling cars. The large Chevy, BMW, Mercedes Dealer in our town was not helpful! (Although their Service department was happy to set my alignment to where I specified when I brought it in with 400 miles. Did a great job of setting each camber and toe were I requested and their only concern was I give them good marks when I received a satisfaction phone call-which I did. All paid for by GM!)
The Courtesy Delivery Service Manager and their C7 Tech were great. They get paid by GM for the prep and also separately for the install of my Stage 2 aero option ordered. Let me in the Service Bay to watch and take pics of the side skirt install.
I have bought several Vettes from Kerbeck, great folks. Ordered the Grand Sport in 15 minutes on the phone as I knew what I wanted. The quoted price was what I paid, no more. They handled all the paperwork and where I needed to sign and return docs they came Fedex Overnight with a prepaid Fedex Overniht envelop in the one I received! My Courtesy Delivery Dealer was surprised they had to no paperwork. They arranged for the temporary license plate as well.
See Kerbeck’s website says they have 298 C7’s in stock or on order. Saw a 2019 with a price under $50,000! Wonder why they are the largest Vette dealer in the Country?!
I’ll buy my next one from them as well!

Mike Furman at Criswell. The best car buying experience I have ever had. I have bought 5 Vettes , Camaro SS and Impala from him and could not have been happier. ( Wait a minute. I think I may have just funded his Sons college education)
More importantly he is a great guy and can play a little golf.
You will get a great deal from him and maybe if your lucky a friend that may love Corvettes more then you.

Discount off
Considering getting back into another Corvette from MacMulkin or Kerbeck. Has anyone been successful at getting a better price than the discounted price they advertise?

Team Owner
CF members have always appreciated the alacrity Furman serves his customers.
Since there are numerous “Mike’s” at the Criswell Auto Group, always ask for “Furman”, that way you get the world’s most prolific Corvette sales rep, with 40 consecutive years experience and 4,000 new Corvette sales and deliveries to his credit. In a mere 9 years, Furman managed to personally put Criswell Auto Group on the national stage.
With all things being equal, Furman is the standard bearer of knowledge and expertise on all things Corvette. He travels coast to coast attending his annual Spring Mountain Driving School sessions in Nevada for his customers, the annual Birthday Bash at the National Corvette Museum, and has attended the Corvettes At Carlisle annual event every year since 1978. He personally generates the only weekly sales/delivery and Class Barn Finds thread on CF.
The most amazing thing about Furman is that he is literally a one man show...... no assistants, no helpers, no staffers, no team members, no interns. From doing his own tutorial owner videos, posters, post cards, Criswell ads, ordering inventory, in constant contact with the National Corvette Museum and Bowling Green plant...... to answering emails, texts, and phone calls 24/7 before the first ring or ding....... Furman is the one in a lifetime real deal in the world of car dealership sales reps. He was a General Manager for Chevrolet dealerships before arriving at Criswell in 2009, but decided the real value to his customers was that of being a direct contact sales rep.
And that was the best move of his career...... for Furman, and for his customers.

I've bought 3 cars from Mike, 2 Vettes and a Tahoe since 2015.
I'll add one more thing that I said to Mike in the past:
When I tell people that “I bought it from Mike at Criswell in Maryland” and my friends up here say “why did you go all the way down there?”, I tell them that I’m an easy sell, but when something goes wrong, I want a guy with 40 years of vette experience in my corner.
There aren’t any follow up questions from my friends after that.
