C7 Car Cover for a vert?
Can anyone recommend a C7 car cover for a vert? I'd like it to be fairly thin because of lack of storage room in the vert. I did a forum search two pages in and did not find anything. I also searched Google and found plenty, but the problem is I can't really tell how thick they are or how much one weighs. One the size of a sleeping bag is just too much bulk. I used to have one for my Ford Ranger that was ultra thin. That material would work very well because I could stuff it anywhere. TIA.

I just ordered one from a well know online retailer for $119 for my vert. Haven't received it yet so can speak to the bulk of it yet. It is a satin stretch materiel in Laguna blue to match my car. Just using it in the garage and occasionally outside. The reviews on it were 100% good. If you want more info feel free to private message me.

I have a CoverCraft Block it Evolution. I use mine occasionally outdoors when we go to our lake home and I have no garage there. It will give some protection to hail, etc. I wouldn't say it's small, but it's not overly huge. It's currently on the vette, in the garage, as I live in a frozen hell hole I'm guessing that in it's bag, it measures 18" X 15" X 12". It's NOT heavy, and it's NOT a stretchy material. Really nicely made.

41 years ago, I bought a honey of a high-grade quality waterproof complete car cover for my brand new 1977 Corvette, from the J.C. Whitney Company's catalogue. I paid about $130.00 for it. It was cotton fleece lined too.

something maybe worth considering if you just want sun/dust protection is to find some desirable material in the color you want & take to a local seamstress with some measurements. Once I had some custom fitted sheets made for a RV w/ odd shaped beds and it was a VERY reasonable charge and ended up a perfect fit. Straps, clamps, velcro, etc. can also be easily sewn in to achieve any type of custom fit you'd like (whole car and/or just cabin)

I don't have a vert, but the Satin Stretch indoor cover that was mentioned above is a very nice indoor light weight cover. It does come with a small bag to put in when not in use. I can put in cuddy in back of coupe. I'm on my second one, First one was for my 04 and after 8 years still looks great. I did find both of mine on ebay cheaper than I could get from forum vendors. Might be worth checking out. Cover very soft and fits like a glove!

^^^^^^ That’s what I have for my vert, and it fits fine.

Satin Stretch and Stretch Satin are indoor car covers. Both are very
thin and pack up nice.

For an indoor/outdoor cover you can not beat the Stormproof from
Coverking. (think Parachute Material) Super thin, very tight weave,
good for Rain/Dust/Pollen/UV. As stated, very thin but offers almost
no ding and dent protection.

Why do you need a cover? Now anyway? You've had your car awhile.
Are you going on a road trip (the only reason for a small volume one that I can think of)? If so, why cover it? Your car will be dirty at the end of the day, and that's not a good combo.
Covering the car at a hotel will just attract unwanted attention, IMO. I could go on about what I've observed on my road trips.
Maybe I'm way off base as to why you asked. Wouldn't be the first time.

Going on a road trip with Corvette'NAmerica tours. WE will be stopping in Durango, Colorado next to a steam engine. It was suggested the engine puts out a lot of ash so we might want to cover our cars. I thought I would at least see what they cost. Most of the same people went to Yellowstone last year. There was a concerted effort by one participant to get us all back together. It's a lot of fun traveling with about 15 other vettes at once. It's like one long parade.
