Have you ever seen a C7 at the beach?
I know alot of ya'll don't have the awesome right to drive on the beach like we do in Texas. Luckily we have that privilege. I take my jeep regularly on it and so alot of other people take their cars too. But to this day I still have not seen a C7 on the beach. I have seen numerous c6s and c5s but never a C7. Have you? Would you ever even think about taking your car to the beach if you could?(subtle brag for my state again).
While it would be awesome to take it during spring break in Port A, I still couldn't do it. You just can't find all that freak'n sand no matter how hard you clean. What about ya'll?

I'm as big a supporter of "cars are meant to be driven" as anyone, but that's pushing it. Not so much because I'd be worried about the car itself. I just think it'd be way too easy to get stuck due to the ground clearance and style of tires.

If the sand is fine, you run the risk of getting it in every nook and cranny.

Sharp little grains of quartz and rotating shafts seems to be a bad combination to me.

Still wonder how ya'll get all that dang sand out.

I don't think that's actually parked on sand. Looks like wet concrete. There's no tire tracks or foot prints...

My guess it is photoshopped.

Forum member jimman drives from San Diego to Daytona almost every year to attend the Daytona 500.
There are pics and video of him driving in the snow at -9° in Wisconsin while visiting family during Christmas, and below are pics and video of him and his buddy on "The World's Most Famous Beach" while visiting during the Daytona 500 this year!!

I lived in Corpus Christi as a kid. I have a polaroid of a 1959 and a 1979 (I think) on the beach next to each other that I took in 1979. At that time, the C1 was just an 'old vette' that didn't have a lot of value. My wife ran onto that pic the other day so if I can find it I'll copy ad post it here.
That was around the time I first noticed and fell in love with Vettes.
