Never mind, I found it.........9686 total for 2018. The second lowest production year. The lowest was 9670 units in 1959.

There were 2018s built in the calendar year 2018 as well. The first 3 weeks of January they were building 2018s, then 2019 production started after that.

There were ‘18s built in ‘18... and yes, it’s strange that everyone’s C7 got a little bit older. It seems to be a growing trend as I just saw a few ‘19 Jeeps on the lot too.

'18s were manufactured between January 2, 2018 and January 26, 2018. I have one built 1/18/18, and it is identical to 19s which began production 1/29/18.
Since the plant was closed from July 2017 until November, 2017 for a complete renovation of the assembly line and completion of a new paint plant, it was a very short MY, but all cars built since November, both 18s and 19s are identical.

No, they were produced until Friday January 26. 19 production started after the weekend on Monday, January 29, as stated in the post just above yours.

Further any car sold after January 1st of a year can be labeled the next model year (so after January 1st 2000 a car could be a 2001 model year).
Cadillac recently did this with the 2015 Escalade which was released in January 2014.

C7 of Year Finalist (stock) 2019
please show us proof of that. I was under the impression that no vettes were sold in 83.
This is the info I found:
I was also pretty sure that only 300 vettes were made in "53 making it the lowest production year
This is the info I found:
No 1983 Corvettes were sold. Quality and production problems had delayed introduction of the new C4 generation so 1983 was passed over. 44 1983 cars were assembled. Some were used to sort out production details while others were assigned to engineering evaluation and crash testing. A few were part of a December 1982 press introduction at Riverside Raceway in California.
43 of the 44 1983 C4 Corvettes were destroyed. The one remaining car, number 23 (white), was retired to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY where it is now on display. It is still owned by GM. Fortunately it was not one of the eight Corvettes involved in the sinkhole incident on February 12, 2014.

1983 had only prototypes made, 43 to be exact, of which 1 survives and is owned by the NCM.
