Picked up new 2018 Ceramic Matrix Grand Sport 2LT from VanBortal Chevy and

It was awesome!!
I have to say HUGE thanks to Matt for making the process so easy. We did most of the stuff via this forum pm. There weren't too many pm at all. Matt had a great price but it was simply out of my reach. I countered an offer. Instead of saying no or making another counter offer, he showed me how I can get that deal! REst was history. That's what seprated Matt from other salesman. Our conversation started me being interested in a used z51 he had in his warehouse. Then I went from buying that to buying a new GS! I traded two my cars. I drove 7 hours with car one first week. Then drove home in a rental. Then drove back with my other car following week. The final paperwork process took literally 20 minutes. What was surprising is that Matt didn't charge me any of those dealer fees. I almost bought it from another dealer last month who added $900 extra fees!!! At Vanbortal, I literally paid Temp tag fee and another mandatory NY state fee - that's it. When comparing to other dealers that charges many fees, this was an advantage.
The car has every option I ever wanted and yes, I wanted this car since 2013! I have been doing research and watching this car closely since the day it was revealed. Took me 4 years but I finally have my car EXACTLY how i wanted. I really really wanted the Competition seats. They were very hard to find. Kerbeck and macmulkin both are closer to me but NONE of them had any GS with comp seats in their lot. Why so much hate for comp seats? I'll never get it. Both suggested to "order a new vette" with comp seats. Ordering a 2019, I def. can't get the price I can get 2018s for (16%+ discount vs. 10/11% discount).
2LT was a no brainer as I live in Northeast. I'm at 1500 miles and used heated seats almost every start. Also has cooled seats option which I plan to use in summer but one option from 2lt that is awesome is memory seats. I setup my seat position and rest is history. Friend or dealer service techs can move my seat whichever way, 1 press and I'm in home position. Car has PDR, red calipers, suede package, carbon flashed ground effect with state 2 aero, cf interior, GS heritage package etc. Honestly, if I am asked to add an option, I prob could not. This is exactly how I wanted my GS. I initially wanted Arctic White but decided on Ceramic Matrix. I'm so glad I did bc this color is fantastic. The color looks so unique and constantly changes color in different lighting.
I have added clear bra to the car and added 7 year/100,000 miles ext warranty thanks to Dennis. He gave me an offer I couldn't refuse. I'm planning on keeping this one for a while.
If you live near upstate NY, please check out VanBortal indoor showroom. It's heated and keeps hundreds of their corvette. Honestly I was running around corner to corner initially. C5, c6, c7 everywhere.
Here are some pictures of their amazing warehouse. I MUCH MUCH rather buy a car that has been sitting in an indoor, heated, climate controlled warehouse than sitting outside.
I'm uploading some pictures so that you can check out the color in different lighting. I really think you should see the color in person. It's beautiful. Hard to capture it in pictures but I am sure my pictures gives you some idea. Pictures toward the bottom are AFTER Xpel Ultimate. You can't even tell. If you're in NY/NJ/PA area, please pm me if you need a recommendation for a clear bra installer. I can send you to a person who will do the BEST job with clear bra and give you fantastic pricing Also he has been doing it for 22 years! I'm extremely ocd when it comes to anyone touching my car and I guarantee you can trust him.

Wow & congrats! That is one sweet looking car for sure!
Awesome showroom too!
Post what you think about the suede steering wheel..
Gotta say, not a big fan of that, but would love to hear your driving/feel impressions on it!

Great looking machine. Van Bortel does it right storing the cars indoors.

Looked at the MSRP sticker - it's always interesting to see what others have compared to your own. Our combinations are pretty similar minus a couple of tidbits here and there (mainly color and the lack of competition seats on mine).
All in all, good job on landing the vehicle! Just in time for spring

Congratulations it's a beauty enjoy it.. As for Van Bortel I would not purchase a Corvette from anyone else or have anyone else service my Corvette. They are simply stated the best.

Bought my new ZO6 from Matt, very good experience, and great dealership. Knowledge of the product goes a long way with me, and they have that in abundance. I have just about 1,000 miles on mine now, waiting another few weeks until the snow is gone and the spring rains wash all the crap off the roads. Good dealer choice, and good luck with the car, enjoy!!

Congrats on a beautiful GS! Agree dealing with VanBortel is great I took delivery of my GS last June. I dealt with Nate deal and trade was done over phone and could not have gone smoother. Enjoy!!
