Default Wax options, what to use these days?

Hi Guys,
I've been out of the know for a few years, So curious what are my options for wax these days?

I saw some facebook posts about a spray on ceramic style wax, looked pretty good but was skeptical.

Meguiar's Ultimate paste wax is my current go-to, with their Ultimate spray wax used in between as a booster. Zero complaints. Great gloss and water beading/shedding.

I like Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Professional Hi-Tech Yellow Wax #26. Easy on and off.

i use strictly synthetic waxes now. They just seem to last longer to me, and i personally dont see much difference in shine.

I'm a big fan of Adam's Polishes. They make just about everything you can think of when it comes to cleaning and detailing. I have their paint sealant and Buttery Wax on my car now, they make paste waxes and a new ceramic wax as well.

Most guys will tell you that instead of waxing your car, get it ceramic coated instead. I go back and forth on that.

I am sold on ceramic coating! May try a wax on top but what a shine I now have.

Used to use Zaino, then I discovered Blackfire Wet Diamond , Blackfire total polish and seal and Blackfire Crystal Seal.

You don't have to vigorously buff to get their products looking great like Zaino and to me they actually produce better results then the Zaino did.

I own a Detail Shop in St.Louis. Do yourself a favor and check out CarPro Ceramic Coatings. You will thank me later, seriously.

These are my favs for years.

I use Rejex on the nose & front fenders to make bug removal EZ.I learned this from owning a plane yrs ago.

Collinite on remainder of car including glass and Megs detail spray after every drive and before putting the cover on.

No one "knows" what is best, but we all have a fav.

After trying out Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish last year I couldn't go back to a regular sealant/wax where you apply it, wait 30 minutes for it to haze over to a powder and then wipe it off. This new Meguiar's stuff is so much easier and faster, you just spray it onto a microfiber applicator, wipe it on your paint and wait a few seconds and then go over it again lightly with a microfiber cloth to remove the excess (it's similar to applying a ceramic coating only less finicky, and you can't make a mistake if you apply it too thick). There are many similar wipe on/walk away products on the market just like it too, such as Blackfire Crystal Seal or Wolfgang Deep Gloss Liquid Seal.

Been using C-Magic products and happy with them. I believe the Corvette Museum also uses it.

Nothing but C-Magic has ever touched my last 2 cars. Great stuff!

Follow immediately with Zaino CS (clear sealant.) That is "apply and let dry"-no removal or buffing. According to Sal it sets the Z-2 so no need to mix with an accelerator.

The CS can be used by itself and I do that on the Wheels, Side Skirts and Spitter. The "Secret" with Zaino products is to use very little! Hard to over stress that point. Too much Z2 and it's harder to remove. Too much CS it will streak. Used sparingly it's very easy to apply.

However in the summer I will use Nu Finish paste wax only on the front bumper and mirrors after cleaning bugs! Does appear to help stop some bug "stuff."

All these fancy smancy synthetics and quartz coatings you can have. They all have their problems. Real men use good old fashioned Carnuba. Nothing beats the shine of this wax. Nothing. It will always be the classic go to application for those who seek the very best show car appearance. It’s more affordable too.

I had CeramicPro Coating applied to my car, the shine and ease of cleaning is amazing. Can't speak to the hold-up duration yet, but I plan on following my car detailer's re-application schedule..
Its not cheap, but it looks fantastic:

I just switched over to the Adams Americana Wax. Goes on super easy and comes off the same without leaving any white dust behind.
