Default In the wild spy shot: New Corvette Model

I must have missed the news on this model...reminds me of the one posted the other day with the C7 that had Ferrari badges on it, but the opposite...

I didn't catch it in my photo, but this actually had dealer plates on it. Had the Corvette emblem on the hood as well. Car actually looked alright, trying to look like a 3 series BMW....but Corvette style....

I really hope this person ends up getting a Corvette in their lifetime. That is exactly what I thought... this guy has Corvette dreams and that probably made him feel so good putting that on there. I can't even laugh at that... I just hope he works hard and makes those dreams come true.

Reminds me of when I didn’t approved for financing a 1997 Corvette in 1999. My friend said I couldn’t afford the car so I got the rims

Just not right no matter how you view it or try to justify it.

Default It all makes sense

That's why the Vette had the Ferrari badges, BECAUSE THIS GUY HAD STOLEN HIS VETTE BADGES, now somewhere there's a Ferrari with Chevy badges on it...easy peasy.....

For those that don't know what this car is...it is the Chevy SS. This used to be a popular mod for those guys because they don't like the big *** bowtie on the rear, so once the bowtie is removed, there is a whole left in the trunk lid that needs addressed and the vette emblem fills it.

Meh. I'll give him a pass. The car comes with an LS3 and a TR6060. He should have used C6 flags though, to keep it in the right generation.

I also have absolutely no problem with guys who will throw C6 flags on a Trailblazer SS, because again, LS2 and a 4L60E.

Nothing at all against the Chevy bowtie, but for the SS, I like the ones rebadged with "original" Holden badging:

Oh well you can't blame someone for trying.
The badges removed from C7s have to be used somehow

I kept the badge from my C7 when it was repainted. I was thinking of throwing it in the center of the tailgate on my GMC 3500! LOL

I give him a pass. I see guys that put Corvette wheels on their Camaro with the Corvette center cap, or get Corvette badges for the engine. There are enough similarities between the two to warrant a badge change. On the other hand, if he was driving an Aveo or a Spark, someone would need to defend the Corvette name and rip the badges off.
